There’s nothing quite like the moment of baptism— coming up from the water with a new life in Christ as a public declaration of faith. It’s a powerful, life-changing act.
But what makes it even more incredible is when it happens in places you’d never expect, under circumstances you’d never imagine.
Global Evangelism in unlikely places—thanks to YOU!
“I’ll never forget the first time I stood in the ocean, alongside 31 pastors, baptizing 1,000 people in
Palawan, Philippines,” recalls Pastor Dan Smith, the Quiet Hour Ministries Global Evangelist.
“The waves were strong, and rocks lay hidden beneath the water,” he said. “By the end, my feet were sore, but my heart was full. Nothing could compare to the joy of seeing those lives transformed.”
Baptisms don’t always happen in perfect conditions.
In Vietnam, Pastor Dan saw 24 elderly believers climb over chairs just to reach the makeshift

baptistry. “They weren’t worried about the challenges—they were focused on following Jesus.”
One of the most unique baptisms took place in a prison in the Philippines, where 60 women were baptized in a kiddie pool. “It wasn’t fancy,” said Pastor Dan. “But the joy on their faces was the same as if it had been in the grandest church.”
From oceans to prisons, your generosity is helping baptisms happen in the most unexpected places.

Ever wondered what a day in the life of a Global Evangelist looks like?
It starts early in countries around the world, preparing for evangelistic meetings. Our team works alongside partners to get everything ready—crafting the messages, rehearsing music, and organizing transportation.
By late afternoon, our evangelists head out to different locations to share the message of Jesus. The final day often ends with a large gathering, complete with music and a closing message, followed by baptisms to celebrate new believers.
Your support makes EVERYTHING we do possible!
Your generous donations to Quiet Hour Ministries fund gospel workers and meeting expenses, helping us reach thousands of people in places like the Philippines, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. Each baptism is a life changed, and your contributions help bring more people to Christ.
Thank you for partnering with us to share God’s love around the world and change lives for eternity.

People ask us, “Why do you go? Wouldn’t it be easier to just send money?”
We go because they invite us. A visitor brings excitement and helps gather a crowd. They love hearing new voices share the story of Jesus. We go because we build friendships. We eat, pray, and work together. We stay connected long after we leave.
We go because we see needs. We help with things like books, building repairs, and sound systems. And when we return home, we tell others—and more help comes.
Most of all, we go because Jesus says, “Go.” The world needs to hear His love and truth.
And we go because it changes us, too. Thank you for making this possible!
