Enhanced Cleaning Arrangements

• A full programme of enhanced daily cleaning has been maintained since the start of the pandemic.

• A further deep clean took place during the current lockdown. It included classroom furniture, floors and windows, as well as some large spaces, such as the Shearly Hall. Airconditioning units were cleaned.

• The increase in the day cleaning teamʼs overall working hours has been maintained.

• Additional, regular cleaning of common ʻtouch pointsʼ – e.g. door handles, bannisters and toilets – will take place. All desk surfaces will be professionally cleaned twice a day.

• All dining venues will be cleaned between sittings.

• In-lesson routines have been adapted to ensure work spaces remain clean.

Doors are propped open to reduce contact with ʻtouch pointsʼ and to aid ventilation.

• An emergency call-out cleaning procedure is in place to deal with incidents.

• Medical rooms will be professionally cleaned after any usage where coronavirus is suspected.
