Junior-senior promenade a once in a lifetime experience for students of Quezon City High School JS

Prom as it is popularly called is one of the most awaited events in the lives of high school students This is known to be the venue to help them practice social skills outside the confines of the classrooms

Considerations were tackled if this is really a good time to hold a promenade amidst safety health protocols because of Covid-19 At first, due to the number of students from grade 9 & 10, exclusion of grade 9 from the JS prom was decided

Another factors like implementation of ng COVID-19 pandemic and parents' capability to send their child to the prom, since it needed a huge amount of money for the dress and suit, food and accommodation, and other expenses intended for it were also considered for the exclusion of the juniors to attend

It is understood that the safety of more than a thousand students from both levels during the COVID-19 pandemic should be a top priority when deciding whether to hold a prom or not But isn't it about time to allow students to enjoy this opportunity and have something wonderful to reminisce about when they get older? Students were confined in their homes, attending classes via online o for almost 2 school years y p of modules and cameras of their computer and gadgets as companions in schooling during those trying times Don't they deserve to experience a night worth remembering with their junior counterpart?

Inclusion of grade 9 in the promenade provides a more inclusive and diverse setting that will benefit both levels By including both grade levels, students can interact with a wider range of peers, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity within the school Furthermore, having a prom for both grades can be seen as a way of preparing students for the
