Dear Donors & Members, As we close another year of meaningful work, we would like to extend our gratitude for your generosity, trust and continued belief in the Foundation’s mission. Your support has once again made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families throughout Los Cabos. In 2025, together with our six partner charities, we distributed over $800,000 USD across our three core programs—Cleft Care, Health & Wellness and Empowering the Future—directly supporting more than 1,940 children and adolescents. Through your generosity, our Foundation has now raised and distributed over $1.5 million USD, reaching 7,853 individuals and transforming the lives of more than 5,400 children over the last two years. This impact is seen every day in restored smiles, life-saving medical care, safe homes and new educational opportunities that open doors to a brighter future. None of this would be possible without you—our Querencia community. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to deepening our impact and supporting our charity partners whose work strengthens the heart of Los Cabos. Thank you for believing in the power of community and for helping us care for the place we all call home. With sincere gratitude, Tom McCloskey President | Querencia Foundation Board

ABOUT US The Querencia Foundation exists to partner with local nonprofits to enhance their fundraising efforts and meet immediate budgetary needs via a grant process. Contributions to the Foundation support not only established local charities, but also lesser-known ones with equally important and impactful missions. Mission Statement Established in 2024, the Querencia Foundation was created in recognition of the expanding needs of the Los Cabos community. Serving as a vital bridge and working with established and vetted non-profit organizations, the mission of The Foundation is to connect the immediate needs of our Los Cabos community to Querencia Members in order to make organized, positive change. Vision Statement We believe we should give where we live. This simple truth inspired the vision of the Querencia Foundation. We are committed to empowering the local Los Cabos community and inspiring our Members to discover their true passion for giving, creating a ripple effect which extends far beyond our immediate surrounding and ignites a spirit of compassion and generosity which transcends and touches the lives of everyone in the community. How we choose charities In order to determine compatibility and viability, local charities are vetted and scored by the Foundation Board based on eight categories: · Legal and Regulatory Compliance · Financial Health · Mission Alignment · Program Effectiveness · Governance and Transparency · Impact Measurement and Reporting · Collaboration · Long-term Viability

YEAR IN REVIEW In 2025, the Querencia Foundation supported six partner organizations through our three core programs — Cleft Care, Children’s Health & Wellness and Empowering the Future. Together, these partnerships allowed us to deliver critical medical care, strengthen institutional capacity and expand educational opportunities for children and adolescents across Baja California Sur. Thanks to the generosity of our donor community, the Foundation granted over $800,000 USD in 2025, directly and indirectly benefiting almost 19,000 individuals, including 1,941 children and adolescents who received direct services. These collaborations demonstrate what is possible when committed partners work together to create lasting, meaningful impact.

Joshua Aldair Gándara Maldonado “Having a local Cleft Care team changed everything for our family. For the first time, Joshua received complete pre-surgical care, constant follow-up and doctors who were always available to us. We felt safe, supported and truly cared for. After his most recent surgery and ongoing psychological support, Joshua’s confidence has blossomed. He decided to audition for his school band and was selected to play the trumpet. Seeing him proud, confident and smiling is something we will never forget. This program didn’t just change Joshua’s smile—it changed his life and ours.” — Georgina Maldonado Becerra, Joshua’s Mother, translated from Spanish to English
