The treatment

Romantic Treat for two. What better gift to offer to your partner than a relaxing afternoon as a Valentine’s treat. Being the spa lovers that we are at QH, we experienced one of the most delightful couple spa treatments Doha could offer to celebrate the day of love.

The wellness treatment consists of 30 minutes jacuzzi, 45 minutes of hammam and a 45 minutes of the massage of your choice. So we are here to give you the nitty gritty of it all, our experience kicked off with a 30 minute Jacuzzi to unwind, relax and help our pores breathe a little.

Subsequently, we were taken to the special hammam room –a steamy Moroccon hammam. The moment you step into it you feel no less than a Turkish sultan, ready to get pampered and taken care of. We began our hammam treatment, with the trained therapists scrubbing the entire body and then removing the exfoliation with buckets of warm water. The experience is unique and the Spa’s best-seller, it’s like having someone showering you for about three quarters of an hour.

Next, we were escorted to the waiting room while our therapists prepared themselves for our next journey. We were now ready to succumb to a body massage. After what seemed to be forever, we oozed relaxation and stress-free. Up next was a hot cup of green tea and apricots to wrap up our romantically relaxing journey.

The verdict

Our treatment was like a fantasy in which the professionals at the spa took care of us for an unforgettable journey. Centrally located within the Souq Waqif it is begging to be explored. And what better than to make it a day to remember for your Valentine. n
