Sanpete County crash kills three teens STACY JOHNSON
Daily Herald
MT. PLEASANT — Three teens were killed Friday, May 3, when the sedan they were passengers in crashed into the back end of a flatbed truck. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a white sedan was traveling westbound on Power Plant Road, east of Mt. Pleasant at about 9:20 p.m. The car was driven by a 16-year-old unidentified female. An 18-year-old male was in the front passenger seat and two 16-year-old females were passengers in the back of the car. A flatbed truck, driven by a 16-year-old was traveling at a slow rate of speed in front of the sedan, according to UHP. There was also a 14-year-old passenger in the truck. UHP reports that the flatbed truck was in the path of the sedan as the sedan came over a hill. The driver of the sedan attempted to stop, but was traveling too fast. The sedan rear-ended the truck and burst into flames, UHP reported. The passenger in the front seat of the sedan, identified as 18-year-old Ryan Lyman from Ephraim, and one
