Greetings,
Welcome St. Louis, here we come! As we approach the 129th Imperial Council and 111th Imperial Court Sessions there is a great anticipation for the future. Passing under the Great Arch, gateway to the West, Dts. And Nobles from all over the globe will convene to deliberate, determine and dance the nights away. This great City and its rich history welcome us to the hot bed of the only original American Art Form known as Jazz.
Home to the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales and Purina Farms, the cultural offerings are also plentiful in the African Diaspora of St. Louis such as The Griot Museum of Black History, Cardinals Museum and Hall of Fame, St. Louis Wax Museum, Old Courthouse, Missouri Historical Society Library & Research Center and much more.
As we close this chapter on my term as your grateful, humble and honored 44th Imperial Potentate, I look forward to seeing and conversing with as many of you as possible in St. Louis. I want us to reflect on the many things we’ve achieved working together, not the least of which is the reinstitution/chartering of 29 Temples, the creation of over 3,000 Nobles and increasing our overall membership to some 18,000. None of this would have been possible without the constant and unflagging support of the Imperial Council and Court, that means ALL of us.
I trust that I have been a path for growth and development that our incoming officers, supported by our Nobles and Daughters, can continue to build upon.
As I said at the outset of this message, our future is bright and the only limitations in our way are those we impose upon ourselves. Trusting God to guide us and see us through, I have every confidence that we will continue to enhance our reputation for selflessly finding a myriad of ways to serve others. I remain,
