Pymble’s Compass program begins in Middle School. Here, your daughter is allocated to a core group of 16 girls, who will meet before recess each week from Years 7 to 12 and go on a teacherled journey through the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ framework.

Pymble’s Mind-Body-Spirit Framework is a multidimensional, holistic approach to wellness and growth, encompassing academic, social, emotional and digital intelligence. Through weekly Directions classes,girls gain the knowledge and skills to harness their inner strengths and make positive choices in life, and to develop into influential and compassionate young women. positive relationships and resilience, gaining a strong sense of community and environmental awareness. We focus on inclusiveness and support for adolescent girls at a time of great change in their lives, developing acceptance, perspective and understanding.

Through supervised peer-led activities, we encourage physical activity, creativity and connectivity between Middle School students.

Our Year 7 girls learn about transition to Secondary School through our ‘Connection Week’ program, focusing on time management, organisation, communication and use of technology. Year 8 girls develop a greater awareness of themselves as learners and are taught to set goals in an effective way.
