a new Genesis of performance product where the outputs are limited only by the diminution of creative inputs. Is there still a place in the swiftly transitioning world of theatre for actors to create a compelling fictional world in a relatively bare and raw space? Where the actors’ physical, emotional and intellectual interpretations of a play text are the essential canvas? The newly created Pymble Theatre Ensemble believes so. Tonight, you will see 13 fine Pymble actors create a viscerally wrought fictional world in which every individual character’s right to express her voice is put on trial. The impact of the production rests firmly on the performance skills of these actors. There are no production elements to camouflage or blur their work beyond the third eye of a digital camera. I warmly commend these actors to you for their performances in the first major production to be staged in the Pymble Drama Theatre and thank sincerely all those who have supported the production.
