Link in bio!
Your Instagram bio allows you up to 150 characters to creatively describe your business and what it does.
Who you are, what you do and where you do it are the three most important questions your bio should answer. To make your bio stand out
consider adding
emojis to break up words.

Call to actions
Instagram’s almost link free culture is great for keeping users on the platform but can be a nightmare for marketing your business.
Link Tree and other similar “link in bio” platforms allow you to turn your one link (from your profile) into multiple links. Once you have Link Tree or similar setup, use your posts to advise people to visit the link in your bio and navigate to your website for more information.

Consistency is key We have all seen those Instagram accounts that just seem to look so professional and leave you feeling like you could not achieve the same look.
Good news is there is a simple way to make your feed look uniformed and that is to use the same filter on all your posts and have the same look for all your graphics. Find a filter that you like, play with the effects until it meets your requirements then write it down for future use.

Profile picture
Instagram displays your profile in the search with a 110 x 110 pixel display or a 1:1 ratio, in simple terms it is a tiny square.
To ensure the quality of your logo, use a 1000 x 1000 pixel image (again, a perfect square). If you have a horizontal style logo, have it worked into a square so it can fit into the small display

Stories
Stories may be the newest kid on the block but they have taken the internet by storm. These short picture or video snippets are an excellent way to show off your brand and get in front of more eyes.
Consistency is the key and real thought should go into them. Make your stories at least 2 slides long, add interactive stickers like the heart slider or a poll and again, drive people to your link in bio for them to discover more on your website.
Hashtags
You can use up to 30 hashtags on each post to maximise your reach!
7 P I T P TO
Get discovered Instagram was built on the back of hashtags and they are a perfect way to categorise your posts.
Using the hashtag of say for example #ShakerKitchen gives Instagram a better idea of what the content is about and could also help people to find you in the discovery feed on Instagram.
