The event was attended by former councillor for Wychaven, Sital Harris, and her husband, during which they took the time to speak to residents and their families. Guests were welcomed to enjoy the communal rooms arranged with clusters of seating and spread out into the homes grounds which were in the autumnal sunshine. The conservatory held a fully stocked bar, china cups and saucers and an array of cakes baked by Chef, Karen Viray. Residents and their families were entertained in the dining room by vintage singer, Johnny Tarrino.

Karen Johnson, Home Manager of Dorset House, said: “We certainly know how to pull off a celebration here at Dorset House! The food and entertainment were spectacular and it’s always great to see our residents spend valued time with their loved ones as well as meet new people.” n
