Reindeer Trail Compton Verney. Take part in our festive reindeer trail within our stunning landscape. Do you know your Monet’s from your Morag Myerscough? Our large wooden reindeer will be richly decorated in the style of contemporary and classical artists. Come and find all nine of Santa’s faithful reindeer friends in their fresh new colours. Once you have completed the trail, head into the shop to collect your reindeer food, ready for Christmas Eve! £3 per entrant. Lantern Parade Pump Room Gardens, Leamington Spa. Leamington’s Lantern Parade, join in with your beautiful handmade lanterns to Light Up Leamington Spa! Cost: Free A welcome return for this community events which brings people together for a magical evening lighting up our beautiful town centre. Every year around 1,000 lanterns parade through the town, whatever the weather. Entertainment starts at the Pump Room Gardens Bandstand approximately 30 minutes before the parade sets off. The route winds its way around the Pump Room Gardens, up Bedford Street to Warwick Street and then along to the Parade before heading back down to the Town Hall, meeting Santa’s reindeer along the way. The Royal Spa Brass Band then join in for Christmas carols on the Town Hall steps. Victorian Christmas Market The award-winning Stratford-upon-Avon Victorian Christmas Market is a themed event with stall holders dressed in Victorian costumes. There will be entertainment throughout the town; a stage in Henley Street will host a programme of performances. There will be a traditional funfair, which will include a carousel situated at the bottom of Wood Street and on the Rother Street market area. The Christmas market will be on Waterside, Bridge Street, Henley Street, High Street and Meer Street, with stalls which will include street food and drink-related produce being positioned on Wood Street. www.stratford.gov.uk

Antigone! Bridge House Theatre, Myton Road. Join Bridge House Young Company for their ‘Three Day Play’ - Antigone! Young performers aged 12-18 are invited to create a new version of Sophocles’ classic ‘Antigone’ over a long weekend. Guided by professional theatre practitioners, the young performers will read through the script on the Friday evening, rehearse on Saturday and Sunday, and perform Sophocles gripping Greek tragedy ‘Antigone’ on Monday evening on stage at the Bridge House Theatre. £75 per participant. www.bridgehousetheatre.co.uk
