• The Palos Verdes Peninsula Girls’ Softball League has 15 teams competing in its Fall Ball season at Cornerstone School and Highridge Park

The fast-pitch league has three 8U teams, six 10U teams, four 12U teams along with one team each in 14U and 16U Divisions. Teams from all over the South Bay travel to the Peninsula to compete in fast-pitch Fall Ball.

Middle School Sports Season Underway

• Flag football and girls’ vol leyball highlight the South Bay League fall competition.

All three Peninsula middle schools compete against South Bay schools and each other in the South Bay League. PVIS is slated to travel to Mi raleste next week then host Ridgecrest the follow week to end the season.

Ridgecrest travels to Chadwick next week while Miraleste will end its sea son hosting PVIS.

The PVIS girls’ volleyball team got a big win over Chadwick Thursday before traveling to Miraleste next week to face the Maruaders.
