Synopsis A new take on the 1920s musical farce, Nice Work If You Can Get It features the iconic music of George and Ira Gershwin. Billie Bendix, a tough-as-nails bootlegger, and wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter, meet on the weekend of his impending wedding. Jimmy has a habit of marrying chorus girls, but needs to settle down with a respectable woman before his mother will hand over the family business. He has gotten engaged to Eileen Evergreen, the self-proclaimed finest interpreter of modern dance, hoping that this will be a better choice than his usual chorus dancer.

Needing somewhere to stash 400 bottles of gin, Billie swipes Jimmy’s wallet and hides her stash in his empty Long Island beach house. However, when the wedding party arrives at the beach house, the bootleggers must juggle the guests and their business.

With a Drama Desk award for Outstanding Book of a Musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It is a definite crowd-pleaser that will have audiences singing along in the aisles.

Meet the Cast and Crew Elizabeth Anderson 2025 (Sound) Class of 2025.

Stefania Anderson+ 2023 (Costumes) Stefania, the sasquatch of the costume closet, hopes that you enjoy this performance! Her matter molecules seem to have dissipated, causing strange disappearances from set builds. Oh, the horror! She would like to thank the costumes queens (Autumn and Faith), the existence of the capybara, and the people who tolerate her antics on a weekly basis. She will see you in the corners of your mind, and the depths of your despair. <3 Sam Angel 2024 (Assistant Stage Manager) Although I might look like Daniel Jung...WE ARE NOT BROTHERS! Nina Baker 2026 (Chorus Girl) Nina is a freshman. She is the oldest and best of her four siblings.

This is her first musical ever, and she is super excited to be a part of the cast. She thanks everyone who has worked together to make this show possible, and says that it is an experience she will never forget!

Sammy Balderrama+ 2023 (Chorus Girl, Hair & Makeup) Sammy is a senior who joined the PVI community just last year as a junior. Since then she has joined the hair and makeup crew and has been in last year's Freaky Friday production, and now this year's Nice Work If You Can Get It! She is a travel soccer player for an ECNL team. She is very grateful to Mrs. D and Ms. Kelleher for providing her with such an amazing acting experience and hopes that you all enjoy the show just as much as she enjoyed performing it!

Kiera Barboza 2025 (Chorus Girl) Keira is a sophomore. Outside of school she likes to play the piano and play with her dog Milo. In school, she participates in Choir and Pink and White Club. Keira has had so much fun working on this show and thinks it was amazing and great experience. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Faith Birch* 2024 (Stage Manager) This is Faith's sixth production at Paul VI, and she is so excited to "Do It Again"! Being a part of this show was Nice Work if You Can Get It because it has been an absolutely "S'Wonderful" experience. So "Let's [not] Call the Whole Thing Off" because "You've Got to be There"!

Alexis Boland 2025 (Stage Crew) In the wise words of Mamma Mia, here we go again! Nice Work will mark Alexis's third show, second musical, and first time not telling people she'll quit after the show ends (she's committed now). There's plenty of people she would like to thank, but won't because these bios have a 50 word limit. Enjoy!

Katie Boland 2024 (Head of Stage Crew) Class of 2024.

Lia Boyle 2024 (Head of Hair & Makeup) what the sus Drew Bradford 2024 (Vice Squad, Young Men) Drew Bradford. The man, the myth, the actor, best known for his role as the enigmatic Hercule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express. Drew has been involved in PVI Theatre since freshman year. YOU can tell Drew's at a set build or a rehearsal without even going inside due to his legendary, but bright, orange Jetta named "Clementine." Drew is a guy you can always count on.

He'll help you with it, too, because word on the street is that he's an exceptional counter. 1, 2, 3, yada, yada, yada. Drew would like to thank his parents, family (acting class), and fridge chock-full of Dr. Pepper and Pepsi, for artificially keeping him awake 90% of the time. #Jack Duren Maddie Bradford 2026 (Chorus Girl) Maddie is a freshman. She likes to play field hockey and hang out with friends in her free time. She has had so much fun working on this show. Maddie wants to thank her family and her friends for all their support.

Alayna Brown 2025 (Bubble Girl, Chorus Girl) Class of 2025.

Dani Bruno 2026 (Chorus Girl, Costumes) Dani Bruno is a freshman. Her ultimate dream is to work on costumes used in grand projects like movies, TV shows, or theatre. Clothes tell a story in and of itself and she would absolutely love to tell their tales to audiences everywhere!

Gabbi Burgos 2026 (Vice Squad) Gabbi is a freshman, and this is her second performance with the PVI Players! Gabbi had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the fall play, Murder on the Orient Express and she is very excited to be a part of this show as well. She would like to thank her supportive family and her brother Nick for inspiring her to do theater. A big thank you to Mrs. d'Alelio, Patty Kelleher, Ms. Prince, and Ahmad for giving her this opportunity. Enjoy the show!

Kaylyn Burakowski 2025 (Sound) Class of 2025.

Sarah Burkat*+ 2023 (Billie Bendix) Sarah is a senior and this is her proper curtain call with PVI Theatre. Her first role with the PVI Players was as a Chorus Girl in the short-lived 2020 production of Nice Work if You Can Get it, and she is so grateful and excited to play Billie in this year’s reprise of the show. She wishes her amazing family, friends, teachers, cast and crew mates all the best, and she knows they’ll play a part, in her heart, when she starts. Cheers!

Faith Caputo 2024 (Co-Head of Costumes) Once upon a time there lived a junior named Faith. She was involved in theater and was known as a head of costumes. Even though her life was devoted to theater, coaching, and driving her brothers around in their carriage, she found a smidgen of time to write this bio. She would like to thank her family, her friends, and the amazing costumes crew. She also hoped that you would enjoy the show!

Julia Cochran 2025 (Flo) Julia is a sophomore who is participating in her first ever PVI musical! She loves to dance and is currently a member of PVI Choir. She is so thankful to be a part of this wonderful production. Thank you to Marlene Brasco for the ride home every day after rehearsal!!

Taira Cikotas+ 2023 (Co-Head of Programs, U/S Billie, Chorus Girl, Bubble Girl) Who's Taira? Well she's only the co-head of Programs, no Biggie.

Jack Duren+ 2023 (Co*-Head of Programs, Lights) Of course the person in charge of Programs is going to make sure he has the longest bio. Jack Duren has been a part of the PVI Players since his time as a little freshman boy. At that time, he had no idea what adventures would await him over the next four years. He will forever be thankful for the people he has met and the memories he has made from being the yellow-shirted Soc in Outsiders, lying under a ramp to work LED lights (that would always break thanks to the actors) for Godspell, the painstakingly long rehearsals with the lights crew till 8 p.m. for Harvey, the glorious birthday opening night for Freaky Friday, the Walmart adventures of Murder on the Orient Express, his two one act performances with THE Faith Hargadon and Hayden Springer, his only true acting performance as Sidney in the nightmare that was Double Exposure, and now the great sendoff of Nice Work if You Can Get It. High school wouldn't be the same without it all.

For his work on his final production, he would like to thank his parents, his acting class, Patty Kelleher, the lights crew, and of course his beloved Programs Crew. They all worked so tirelessly to make this playbill possible. He hopes this show SMASHES expectations because it'd be nice for his final show to be the best!

Katie Elder*+ 2023 (Jeannie Muldoon, Head of Marketing) Have you ever thought, “I’m pretty boring. I wish I had someone who I could base my personality off of and draw an insane amount of inspiration from.” Look no further, your solution is Katherine “Katie” Elder, a PVI Theatre legend best known for her role in real life as “awesome person.” Katie has been involved in theatre for four years, taking on many responsibilities such as acting, singing, dancing, and being in charge of marketing (wow!).

She must be doing a pretty good job at it because you’re sitting in the theater waiting for our show to start, right? See, the advertising worked. She would like to thank her parents, her car Cedric, gum, the many 8 ct grilled nugget meals that got her to this point, gum (again) and the city of Bogotá. #wavelength #jackduren @pvi.theatre Logan Esposito 2025 (Stage Crew) Logan is a sophomore, and this is his first musical that he has worked on for PVI. He enjoys building the set with his friends and helping the show run smoothly.

Emily Fountaine 2025 (Lights) Emily, better known as "Wait, you're Zach's younger sister?!" is a sophomore on lights for her second production. Outside of theatre, her hobbies include messing around with her friends and eating an unhealthy amount of chicken nuggets. During theatre... nothing changes. She would like to thank everyone for tolerating her when she's sleep-deprived during hell week, especially her family, and hopes her light cues are on time this show!

Zach Fountaine+ 2023 (Senator Max Evergreen) Zach is a senior and couldn't be happier being in this production of Nice Work If You Can Get It. This is his third (technically second) main stage show and also his final. Zach would like to thank his family and friends for always being there and supporting him. He would like to shout-out his Ma, Pops, especially Fenway, and maybe his younger sister. More than anyone, he would like to thank his older sister who started this whole journey with him back in 6th grade. Without her, Zach wouldn't be where he is today. (That sounded like she died; she is very much still alive (-: ) P.S. Oh, and also a special shout out to Monster Energy *not sponsored* for helping his brain be able to complete basic human functions after getting no sleep the night before.

Arabella Fulgenzi 2025 (Sound) Arabella Fulgenzi is working backstage sound and is a sophomore. She enjoys other arts such as creative writing and drawing, which she is taking classes for currently. She can't wait to continue her time in PVI Theatre Club next year!

Ava Grom 2025 (Vice Squad) Ava Grom is a sophomore who would really like some ice cream....and less cardio. "You should put 'I love Tally Evans'" -Tally Evans.

Emily Hamrick+ 2023 (Duchess Estonia Dulworth, Marketing) Emily Hamrick is a senior and is thrilled to be involved in her final show at PVI. She could previously be seen as "Woman with Whistle" in Freaky Friday. If you ever walk down a hall and hear people laughing, Emily is probably close by. She would like to thank her friends in the cast for keeping her entertained at rehearsal, especially Taira, who she loves dearly. She says a huge thanks to everyone for coming to the show, and an even bigger thanks to those who are actually reading these bios. Enjoy the show!

Carole Ann Hasto 2024 (Head of Props) Carole Ann is a junior. She has been a part of PVI Theatre since she was a freshman, and is happy to continue her time as the Head of Props. She is excited to work on this performance!!

Jackson Herrera*+ 2023 (Jimmy Winter) This is it. The moment you’ve all been waiting for. The final show of Jackson “Swaggiest Senior” Herrera’s illustrious acting career.

Aren’t you glad you get to witness this moment? Everyone’s treasured Colombian has been involved in PVI Theatre for all four years of high school. Let’s look back at some of our favorite highlights, shall we? Apostle? Check. Psychiatrist? Check.

Scottish war hero/murderer? Check. Charismatic teenager singing a song titled “Women and Sandwiches?” Check. Alcoholic money-driven talent agent? Definitely check. Last, but certainly not least, Jackie takes on the role of Jimmy Winter, a lawbreaking polygamist trying to find his place in the world in the roaring twenties. Yes, you read that right. Carson Hill*+ 2023 (Head of Backstage Sound) Hi, my name is Carson Hill and I am a senior. I have done theatre all four years of high school and the productions I have done are Deck The Stage, The Outsiders, Murder on the Orient Express, Everybody Gets Eaten by Sharks, Freaky Friday, Harvey and Godspell. In my time at PVI, I have also played on the Special Olympics Basketball team for four years and I think joining theater and playing Special Olympics were the best decisions I have made and I can't wait to work on the show!!

Abigail Hish 2025 (Midge, Bubble Girl, Chorus Girl, U/S Millicent) This is Abigail's second performance with PVI, and she could not be more excited! From dancing to singing, she has always had a love for theater and is happy to be on stage. She would like to thank her amazing friends and family for their support, especially her mom for putting up with all the late rehearsals.

Mike Hoess*+ 2023 (Props, Set construction) This is Mike's final PVI production and he's running on 2x4's and a dream. He's extremely excited to see his last PVI set and wants to thank the actors and all the crews for such an amazing time in high school theater. He would especially like to thank the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Stulac, for teaching him how to use power tools and dedicating so much of his time to theatre.

Annie Howard 2025 (Chorus Girl, Bubble Girl, Costumes) Annie is a sophomore and would like to thank her family and the entire cast and crew for being a blast to work with making and the past few months so much fun! Aside from theatre (which pretty much takes up her whole life) she enjoys writing and film making. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Rodrigo Jauregui 2026 (Vice Squad, Young Men, U/S Jimmy) Rodrigo is a freshman and this is his first production here as well! Before this, he participated in two productions in middle school, Mulan and Beauty and the Beast. He would like to thank his parents for allowing him to participate, and also thank Ms. K, Ms. Prince and Mrs. D for guiding him through the process here.

Madison Jones 2026 (Chorus Girl, Props) Madison Jones is a freshman who is a double agent in the Fine Arts department (Band and Theatre, because why not both?) She is one of the many, many chorus girls in the show, and has also dedicated her entire existence to the fabulous props crew. Keep an eye out for that beautiful hand mirror used in the show, because she made that. Enjoy the show!

Trinity Jones 2025 (Lights, Set Construction) Trinity is a sophomore. Trinity likes to build. Trinity likes lights.

Trinity likes her best friend in the whole world Sophia Walter who is super cool for writing this bio <3 Alexa Jordan 2026 (Vice Squad) Alexa is a freshman and is overjoyed to be in her first high school production! She’s so grateful for all the new skills she's learned and new friends she's made over the past few months. Besides theater, Alexa loves to sing with the PVI Choir, spend time with her friends, and play guitar.

Daniel Jung 2024 (Sound) There comes a time in every young man’s life when they are so cool and so amazing that they are simply incomparable to anyone. Gunwoo “Daniel” Jung has reached that point in life, and it shows. Not only is he a prime physical specimen, but he is a master of the arts as well. Currently in his junior year, Danny has been involved in PVI Theatre for three years as a member of the sound crew. Need a mic? Danny is your guy. Need your mic fixed when they inevitably break? Danny is your guy. Need someone to pull the plug on the sound system when it explodes in the middle of a show? Danny is your guy. Not like that could ever happen, right? Right? # (Bing chilling)

Jahan Kabadi 2025 (Lights) Working spots is my passion.

Martin Keller 2024 (Stage Crew) Martin promised himself that he would never set foot inside the theatre ever again. Well, his bio is here so that clearly didn't happen. Martin doesn't know how he'll manage to play volleyball and rugby all while being a very crucial part of stage crew, but he'll figure something out. In the mean time, Martin hopes to have a fun time and enjoy another wonderful PVI production.

Lily Ketron 2024 (Bubble Girl, Chorus Girl, Hair & Makeup) Lily is a junior and this is her third year in theater. She is a big fan of musicals and loves being in them. Though she had never heard of Nice Work If You Can Get It before, she loves it and is very happy to be a part of the production. She would like to thank her family and dog for all of their support. She would also like to thank them for putting up with the Nice Work If You Can Get It playlist on repeat. She has had so much fun dancing and singing and hopes you enjoy the show!

John Kiechlin+ 2023 (Lights) John Kiechlin has occasionally been involved with PVI Theatre for a while now. Sometimes he's there, sometimes he's not. When will he return, when will he leave? Lights crew is the best crew there is, and he will be forever thankful for them. Enjoy the show!

Alex Krepinevich 2026 (Bubble Girl, Chorus Girl, U/S Eileen) Alex is a freshman. Alex has been doing theater since she was 8. It has been an AbSoLuTE jOY working with PVI Theatre. When Alex is not playing a sassy flapper or a part of a bubble bath, she is usually in her room or hanging out with friends. Alex hopes to continue PVI Theatre throughout high school. Last but not least, if you want to find me, it's hard to miss me: I am ginger.

Emma Ladowicz 2026 (Vice Squad) Emma is a freshman. This is the first production she has gotten to perform in at PVI, and she really enjoys being a part of the cast. She hopes to be in more performances in the future.

Natalia Lama 2025 (Hair & Makeup) Yo! Natalia is a sophomore and this is her fourth production of working on the Hair & Makeup Crew for PVI Theatre. She loves expressing herself in her makeup whether it is winged liners or bright blush. This production has been SO much fun and she hopes you enjoy the show!!

Olivia Lattanze 2025 (Assistant Stage Manager) Olivia is a sophomore at PVI this year! This is her fourth production with PVI Theatre and her second production as an assistant stage manager! She is so happy to be back again, and helping run this wild and crazy show! Since Olivia enjoys theatre so much and has learned so many skills from it, every long hour working and perfecting this show is totally worth it! Enjoy the show!

Grace Lemmon 2026 (Props) Grace Lemmon is an amazing human/genius. She is in acting class, which her friends from band have been very upset about.

She has watched Cats 2019 about eight times. She does not like Cats 2019. Don’t ask. It has been an AbSoLuTE JOy to work on this beautiful production.

Talia Lytle* 2024 (Eileen Evergreen) Singing has always been the biggest part of Talia’s life even having the honor to perform in honor choirs at the district, state, and national level. However, she can’t wait to show off her talent as the “finest interpreter of modern dance in the world.” She hopes you enjoy!

Aedan McConnell 2025 (Chief Berry, U/S Cookie, Marketing) In this show, Aedan sings, dances, and arrests very bad alcohol smugglers. He has truly enjoyed working with his fellow cast members to put on this show, but he admits that he would have enjoyed it even more if the show happened while peaches (his favorite fruit) (they look like this: 🍑) were in season (during the summer). But even though he couldn't eat delicious grilled peaches (best way to eat peaches 🍑) as snacks (peaches 🍑) during very long rehearsals, he is still very excited and grateful to everyone who has supported him.

Ronan McConville 2025 (Vice Squad, Young Men, U/S Duke) Every decade has an iconic brunette, like Audrey Hepburn or Princess Diana, and right now, Ronan is that icon.

Jack McKenna 2024 (Set Construction) Jack, who’s been a part of PVI Theatre since 2021, is focusing his contribution on the set build. Jack has been part of previous PVI productions: set build in Harvey, Pastor Bruno in Freaky Friday; and Rachett in Murder on the Orient Express. With junior year weighing heavy on his workload, he’s still finding time to help build the amazing sets that PVI Theatre is known for. Best wishes and break a leg to all the cast and crew!

Lilia McKinley 2024 (Sound) Lilia is a junior and is on Sound Crew. She is extremely grateful to her friends for convincing her to join theatre, and enjoys working in the sound booth (not lights booth) a lot! She hopes everyone enjoys the show as much and she's sure she will.

Either way he's back and he'll see what doing mics for a musical is like.

Grace Shippie 2025 (Dottie, Bubble Girl, Chorus Girl) Grace is a sophomore and is involved in Choir and PVI Dance team. While this is her first musical at PVI, she has been in many musicals throughout her life. She has had so much fun working on the production because she loves all of the dance that's included, and being with her friends on stage.

Rose Skees 2025 (Chorus Girl) Rose is a sophomore and this is her second show with PVI Theatre. She loves going to rehearsals and learning all the songs and dances even though she can't tap dance to save her life. She couldn't wait for the musical to start rehearsing again and hopes everyone will enjoy the show--you've gotta be there!!

Hayden Springer* 2024 (Lights, Props) This is Hayden's fourth major show and third as a member of the lights crew. He acted as Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express and there's a running joke that he went from working in the spotlight, to being in it, to now working it again. There is also a current coup in the Lights Crew that he's orchestrating as of now.

BTW he's a junior and Disputed Head of Lights Crew.

Mateo Sur* 2024 (Cookie McGee, Costumes) The fantastic, Mateo Sur, is a Junior at PVI and has taken many forms on stage. In a way, the souls and spirits of Ryan Reynolds, Chris Pratt, and Bryan Cranston have all accumulated into the conglomerate idea known as, well, you know who. The theatre itself has haunted him and given him the necessary power and skill in order to portray who Cookie McGee is; some say they don't know who's really on stage.

Gabriel Urbina 2025 (Stage Crew) Gabriel is a sophomore. He lives his life to the fullest (sometimes) and tries his best. He enjoys theatre, and hopes the musical goes well because a failure would be VERY BAD, I think generally do not know what would happen. Iain Valleskey* 2024 (Duke Mahoney, Programs) If you’re reading this it’s already too late. Unfortunately, you’ve unwittingly stumbled across the bio of Iain Valleskey, a junior who is both an actor in this performance and a member of the programs crew (we literally made the program you are reading right now). His most recent theatrical accomplishment (of which there are many) is owning a train, which he thinks is pretty cool.

When he isn’t completely bogged down with the never ending demands of school and theatre (which is never) he enjoys blankly staring off into space and “helping out” at Saturday setbuilds. Roy Wulf 2026 (Vice Squad, Young Men, U/S Senator) Roy Wulf is a freshman. He enjoys music and plays every instrument ever invented except the alpine horn. Roy was in Pied Piper Theatre's Mary Poppins (2016) and in Rooftop Productions' Elf the Musical (2019) and A Christmas Chaos (2021).
