Color A Smile

On Monday, November 16th , we had our General Meeting. During the last twenty minutes of the meeting, each member took out coloring pages that they printed beforehand from the Color-A-Smile website. Color-A-Smile is a non-profit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to senior citizens in retirement homes or senior living centers. Thus, during the remainder of the meeting, President Marlen played music while each member colored the pages. Our members were able to complete one page during the meeting, however many of our members went above expectations and colored more pages on their own time for the remainder of the month. Our members were eager to be coloring and helping put a smile on someone’s face! On December 5th, our Key Clubbers dropped off their Color-A-Smile service project at a Drive Thru event held at Preisker Park. In total, our club completed 80+ pages and our awesome advisor, Mr. B, later mailed our project to the organization. 05
