EVENT REGISTRATION UPDATE

We’re thrilled to share that our 2026 Calendar of Events is officially set! To better align all of our properties and ensure every event is the best it can be, we’re updating our registration windows.

Effective January 1, reservations will open 30 days in advance, GHG All-Club events will open 60 days in advance, and major holiday events will be available 90 days in advance.

SHELL SOCIETY PERK OF THE MONTH

Shell Society members can enjoy a BOGO Sunday Brunch Entrée throughout the month of January.

Tuesday, January 20

BOOK CLUB

10 AM Palm East Gather for an engaging morning of conversation as we discuss The Delight of Being Ordinary: A Road Trip with the Pope and the Dalai Lama. Looking ahead, February’s selection will be Untamed by Will Harlan.

1 – 4 PM Palm East Settle in for an afternoon of Mahjong with fellow members. Game pieces are not provided.

KIDS' EVENTS January 2, 5, & 19

KIDS' CAMP

8 AM – 4 PM Ages 4 – 10 $75 Per Member • $95 Per Member Guest When school is out, Kids' Camp is the place to be for a full day of fun. Each day includes themed games, take-home crafts, and engaging indoor activities, with lunch provided. Campers enjoy pizza served with Goldfish crackers and fresh fruit. Weather permitting, beach time and pool swimming add extra excitement. Please arrive in a swimsuit and bring a change of clothes, water bottle, and sunscreen. A 7-day cancellation policy applies.

TWEEN TAYLOR SWIFT TAKEOVER

5 – 7 PM Ages 8 – 12 $40 Per Member • $50 Per Member Guest Fans are invited to sing, dance, and celebrate all things Taylor Swift at this high-energy tween party.

Enjoy favorite hits, themed games, and plenty of chances to show off your best Swiftie moves during a magical night of music and friendship.

5 – 7 PM Kidz Club at the Fitness Center • Ages 2 – 8 $20 Per Child Mini Members are invited to a cozy PJ movie night complete with popcorn, bean bag chairs, and plenty of fun. Kids will enjoy a relaxed evening of movies and friendship while our Recreation team creates lasting memories.

POLAR PLUNGE

10 AM Lodge Beach Celebrate a time-honored Lodge tradition with an invigorating plunge into the Atlantic, energized by DJ BC spinning upbeat music to set the tone. After your dip, warm up with a Bloody Mary Bar and breakfast available for purchase. Adult shirts are $25; children’s shirts are $20, while supplies last.

FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT DINNER EXPERIENCE

6 PM Palm Room $55 Per Person* Discover the untold stories of the women who shaped— and were shaped by—legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Wright expert Tim Totten brings their lives to light through a captivating presentation of love, loss, resilience, and inspiration. Dinner is included for an evening of history, storytelling, and insight.

First Question at 6 PM Ocean Ballroom Complimentary Teams of up to eight compete for prizes and bragging rights while enjoying food and beverage service. Teams must register through the Member App between the first and fourth of the month. A no-show or cancellation within 48 hours results in ineligibility for the following month.

GATE RIVER RUN

Registration Closes January 31 The Gate River Run is quickly approaching, and all Gate Hospitality Club members are invited to join Team GATE for this iconic Jacksonville sporting event.

Whether you’re running or walking in the 5K or 15K, it’s a spirited way to connect with fellow members and take part in the city’s largest participatory race. Team members enjoy access to the VIP Gate Hospitality Tent from 6:30 AM – 12 PM on race day, featuring pre- and post-race snacks and top-runner prizes. Registration is open January 1 – 31 through the Club Member App, and runners must also register on the official race website by selecting “Join an Existing Team” and choosing Team Lodge Member to qualify for team awards.

GATE RIVER RUN PASTA DINNER

6 PM • Ocean Ballroom Complimentary for Registered Team GATE Runners $45 Per Guest Ages 10 & Up It's time to fuel up for the big race! Certified Sommelier and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage Joseph Bragg guides members through professional tasting techniques using sight, aroma, palate, and structure, with guided samples of wine, spirits, and beer.

6 PM Palm Room Complimentary Learn the fundamentals of pickling fresh vegetables in this hands-on Chef Hacks workshop. Each participant will craft a custom jar of pickled vegetables to take home and enjoy.

ROOTED IN FLAVOR: ALL-CLUBS CULINARY COOK-OFF

6 PM • Hosted at The River Club Ages 21 & Up $120 Per Person Our exciting annual culinary competition features chefs from Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The Lodge & Club, Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club, and The River Club. Each Club’s culinary team will provide two dishes and a cocktail for tasting. The key ingredient: Dig Deep.

Cook Local. Each team is required to only source from within 300 miles of Jacksonville. The full evening will include 8 dishes, 4 cocktails, 16 wines, and a dessert station. Members will be the judges! A member-charge bar will also be available. There is a strict 72-hour cancellation policy. Registration is taken directly on the Club Member App through the Club calendar.

Outdoor yoga classes are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 7 AM, and Saturdays at 8 AM. Please call ahead on the day of class to confirm whether the session will be held indoors or outdoors due to weather conditions.
