Hello Members, As we move into November, I want to share a few updates on the improvements taking place around Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club, along with an opportunity to recognize one of our outstanding team members. Our locker room renovation continues to make progress. This has been a complete gut renovation, involving new plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC and ductwork, and framing to prepare the space for its transformation. While much of this work takes place behind the scenes, these improvements are essential to creating updated, functional spaces that will better serve our members for years to come. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this significant project and look forward to sharing the finished spaces with you. More updates to follow new month. In addition, our new Technogym fitness equipment is scheduled to arrive at the beginning of December. The fitness center will need to close temporarily to allow for the removal of the existing equipment and installation of the new machines. We are working to finalize the schedule and will communicate the specific closure dates as soon as they are confirmed so members can plan accordingly. Thank you for your understanding as we continue investing in our fitness amenities. We are also finalizing our upcoming membership survey, which we anticipate sending out this month. Your feedback is essential in helping us understand what we are doing well and where we have opportunities to improve. From our facilities and services to programming and the overall member experience, your input helps guide our priorities and decisions. I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to participate when the survey arrives. We want to ensure Epping continues to evolve in ways that reflect the needs and expectations of our membership. I am also pleased to recognize Chris Eriquez as our Employee of the Third Quarter! Chris serves in our tennis department as our court maintenance expert, helping ensure our courts are properly maintained and ready for our members to enjoy. His dedication has been especially evident throughout the summer, when he worked seven days a week while we searched for an additional court maintenance team member. That level of commitment speaks volumes about Chris’s work ethic, dependability, and dedication to Epping. We are grateful for the extra effort he has put forth during a particularly demanding period. Chris brings 20 years of country club experience from the Connecticut area, where he worked in both maintenance and club management. He moved to Florida more than a year ago to be closer to family and has enjoyed the transition to the Sunshine State. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, whom he first met in middle school, and their two-year-old daughter. He also appreciates the Florida weather and the opportunity to play golf year-round. Please join me in congratulating Chris on this well-deserved recognition and thanking him for everything he contributes to our club. As always, thank you for your continued support, feedback, and commitment to Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club. We have exciting improvements underway, and I look forward to continuing to work with our members and team to enhance the experience we provide while honoring the traditions that make Epping so special. Kings’ Day Regatta Whether you’re sailing or simply cheering from the sidelines,

Epping Forest presents the King’s Day Regatta in collaboration with the First Coast Sailing Association. Ring in the New Year AT THE CHARTROOM LOUNGE Ring in 2027 with fellow members at The Chartroom Lounge for an intimate evening featuring a solo musician, a display of hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight. Open seating and a member charge bar will be available. Reservations are required through the Club Calendar in the Member App. Event charges apply to attendees. Rolling on The RiverTurf & Tide
GHG ALL-CLUB COOKOFF
Our exciting annual culinary competition features chefs from Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The Lodge & Club, Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club and The River Club. Each culinary team will provide a dish with protein from the turf and tide, along with a cocktail. The evening includes eight dishes, four cocktails, a dessert station, and complimentary wine pours to pair with each dish. A commemorative glass is included to take home. Members will be the judges, with voting from 6 to 8pm. A member-charge bar will also be available. 7 day cancellation policy. This event is members only and registration will open on Sunday, November 29th at 6 pm.
