Student Activity Centers are a type of building found on university and some high school campuses. Broadly speaking, several facilities are devoted to recreation and student outreach. The Student Activity Center is the center of the college community, serving students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests. Student activity centers may offer a variety of programs, activities, services, and facilities. Student Activity Centers are often the center of student affairs and activities and can accommodate student government offices or other student groups.

The Student Activity Center can be used by all students and is a gathering place for all extracurricular activities as well as student organizations and government. This is the background for the design of a Student Activity Center in order to accommodate all the needs of students both in the academic and non-academic fields.
