I’m so excited about this one! This is what Oprah calls a full circle moment, for yours truly! This show was the very first musical I saw on Broadway, in a theater exactly like the one you are sitting in, and it changed my life! It made me dream bigger, it made me want to be a part of this crazy life called showbiz, and it made me want to change someone, the way that I had been forever changed! There are now, many versions of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in the World, the famous cartoon, the first one that was ever nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture, The Live Action version that came out a few years ago, that brought us a few new songs, and a new revival that will probably be hitting Broadway within the next few years, but this one here, is my favorite. In my opinion, the beloved score, plus the gorgeous songs that were added to further the story, and the immaculate attention to detail in the adaptation for the stage is what a great musical is all about to me! I don’t need to sell you on this show, everyone knows it, everyone knows the story, and has their own wonderful experience attached, I’m just here with a wish that you enjoy our version, and are forever changed by it, and that maybe, somewhere down the line, you will do the same for someone else! WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST?
Teddy Gardner (Beast/Lefou): This is Teddy's third appearance with Pure Imagination Theater. He was previously seen as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors , and Roger in RENT. He loves doing Second Life plays, and is proud to be a part of the Pure Imagination Theater family. Special thanks to Director and Producer Ella Woods, as well as the cast. It means a lot that he is making an impact in the performing arts community within the grid!
Ella Woods (Belle/Beautiful Enchantress): This marks Ella's sixth performance on The Pure Imagination Stage! She was previously seen as Mimi Marquez in RENT, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Ella in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Ella would like to thank the entire cast of Beauty and the Beast for their hard work, and their talented ability, and willingness to wear multiple hats (and costumes) to pull this off, and Buddy Woods (you'll see him tonight as Belle's loveable Father Maurice, but in his day to day he is Ella's equally loveable, and loyal fur baby)! Ella is performing this role in the name of the power of true love, and how in its own magic, it can change things, and people, many times over!

Actor For Hire (Gaston/Cogsworth): This marks Actor's third performance for Pure Imagination. He was previously seen as Eugene in Grease, and Benny in RENT. He is happy to be treading the boards again with some familiar faces, and some new. He would like to thank all those who attend, and continue to support Pure Imagination Theater's mission of bringing professional, Broadway quality theater to Second Life. RockAndRoll Michigan (Lumiere) : This is Rock's third play with the Pure Imagination Players, and he is happy to be working with such a fine cast. He was previously The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, and Tom Collins in Rent. Rock is performing his role in this play, for the love of being part of something bigger than himself, and as a sign of respect for his extended family. WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST?
Jasmyn Gardner (Mrs. Potts/Silly Girl/Wolf): is making her third appearance with Pure Imagination Theater. She truly enjoys doing these plays, and working with the amazing people who have become family, and will always remember this experience. She would like to thank Ella Woods, for letting her preform in these plays (Little Shop of Horrors, RENT, and now this one)! She can't wait for the next play, and the next creative challenge! She hopes everyone will enjoy the play, and the hard but fun work we all do, to put them together for you!
Buddy Woods (Maurice/Baker/China Plate/Mob Sargent): Buddy is appearing in his fourth outing at Pure Imagination Theater. He has previously performed as Mark Cohen in Rent, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop Of Horrors and as Mr. Fox and Madame in Cinderella. Buddy would like to thank the entire cast for being so supportive and for making this production possible. He would also like to dedicate his performance to the person who always looks out for, and takes care of him, Ella Woods.

Melissa Rose Gardner (Babette/Silly Girl/Wolf): Is making her debut performance with Pure Imagination Theater! She would like to thank Ella Woods for giving her the chance to shine in a show with her family! She has been with SL for 1 year and 6 months, and has learned so much!
Bobbi Jo (Madame De La Grand Bouche/Silly Girl): is making her debut on the Pure Imagination Stage. She is brand new to SL, but Ella Woods gave her a chance and she is really enjoying the experience! She is becoming a family member of this wonderful group of people who have helped her though her struggles of learning both the play and SL. hope you all enjoy this play as much as I enjoy doing it !

Tanzly Littlepaws (Chip): Is making her debut on the Pure Imagination stage! She would like to thank her Grandma and Grandma Jasmyn, and Teddy, respectively, for inviting her to try out, she dedicate this performance to all my parents and siblings!
