On our front cover you will see champion jockey Paul Townend getting up close and personal with the famous Punchestown Gold Cup following Allaho’s emphatic win in 2022. Punchestown is a special place, the home of Irish jump racing. It hosts the home-coming of champions, the scene of emerging stars and the battle ground for old rivals.

When sport that good is coupled with a buzzing friendly social scene, great food, music and style it creates a very memorable event. Join us from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 April 2023 as we celebrate all that is special about Irish jump racing.

We like to keep things relaxed and simple so this booklet should give you a good idea of how to get here, what to book and where to stay. Our team are always on hand to offer some local advice and assist in any way we can.

TU E S DAY 2 5 A P R I L W I LLIA M H I LL CH A M PI O N CH A S E The opening day of the festival is one for the real racing fans with three brilliant grade 1 contests featuring the William Hill Champion Chase.

Festivities get underway throughout the enclosures with live music, great food and wonderful style.

W E D N E S DAY 2 6 A P R I L LADBROKES PUNCHESTOWN GOLD CUP The jewel in the crown of the entire event and probably the Irish jump racing calendar. The Punchestown Gold Cup takes centre stage on day two. Live music, fashion and the brilliant atmosphere spills out from bars and venues throughout the enclosures.

TH U R S DAY 2 7 A P R I L L A D B RO K E S CH A M PI O N STAY E R S H U R D LE Stamina is the name of the game on day three with runners and riders lining up for the Ladbrokes centrepiece. The famous and historic La Touche cross country race never

fails to deliver a thrilling finish despite the challenges of the four mile test. The original racecourse sale is hosted by Goffs in the winners enclosure after racing.

On the track current, past and potential champion hurdlers meet in the Paddy Power feature whilst the Bollinger Best Dressed Lady is unveiled on the champagne garden.

SATU R DAY 2 9 A P R I L BA LLY M O R E FE STIVA L FA M I LY DAY Festival Saturday is the ultimate wrap party for the Irish jump racing season. Festival goers of all ages travel from every corner of Ireland and beyond to celebrate the achievements of Irish jump racing.

The racing fans of tomorrow are entertained in the Junior Jockey Club Fun Zone whilst the season champions are crowned in the winners enclosure.

Access to the paddock, grandstand, saddling and winners enclosure, cafes and bars as standard. This ticket also gains access to the reserved enclosure home of the Hunt Stand with the famous Sky Bar, Festival Bar, Bollinger Lounge all boasting great live music, ample screens, seating and very importantly located just metres from the action on the final straight. This is the social hub of the festival.

As the name suggests this is flexible and can be used on the day of your choice.
