Original Artwork Artist Ellen Hilbun

Local Maker Alert! My name is Ellen Hilbun and I am a 21 year old Honors student at Washington State University. I have chosen to study BiomedicalEngineering with the hopes of changing people’s lives through the creation of novel products and medical devices.

Art is my escape from academia, and I have used painting as an outlet for six years now. I have always been a creative soul, and love to translate my emotions and how I see the world through my work. My work is inspired by nature, predominantly the Pacific Northwest and American Southwest. I love to see my art inspire creativity in others, so I have partnered with the local Route 26 Farmhouse Air BnB to put on watercolor classes during the school year.
