esulta bastante lógico que las instalaciones de Puerto Portals se hayan asociado hasta la fecha a los meses de verano y al buen tiempo: las salidas en barco, las terrazas de los restaurantes, los paseos junto a los jardines disfrutando del sol…

Se trata, desde luego, de placeres que en 2012 han vuelto a atraer a decenas de miles de visitantes a nuestro Puerto con toda la satisfacción que ello nos produce.

Ya desde el invierno pasado, sin embargo, desde la dirección hemos tomado la firme decisión de apostar por los meses de otoño e invierno, la denominada “temporada baja”, para sacar a relucir toda la magia que Puerto Portals ofrece también en esta época del año que, les aseguro, no es poca. Actividades como el Mercado de Navidad, que el pasado año en su primera edición cosechó un rotundo éxito de participantes y público, o el Rally Clásico Isla Mallorca, que se celebra en marzo y atrae a participantes de todo el mundo, permiten disfrutar a mayores y niños de unos días muy especiales en este marco incomparable.

Pasear por la mañana o a primera hora de la tarde por Puerto Portals, disfrutando del templado sol de invierno, del silencio y de tanta paz, es una experiencia que recomiendo a todo el mundo.

Desayunar en una terraza soleada en pleno invierno o disfrutar de la deliciosa oferta en los cálidos ambientes que ofrece el Puerto tanto de día como de noche, son auténticos placeres invernales.

No nos daremos cuenta y la primavera y el verano volverán a estar aquí. Pero de momento, disfrutemos de este invierno, que en Mallorca es siempre agradable y templado, y de las hermosas posibilidades que nos ofrece.

t is only logical that an installation like Puerto Portals has been hitherto associated to the summer months and good weather – boat trips, restaurant terraces, strolls beside the gardens enjoying the sun… Naturally these are pleasures that have once again drawn tens of thousands of visitors to our port in 2012, to our great satisfaction.

However, since last winter, the port management has made a firm decision to commit itself to the autumn and winter months, the so-called “low season”, in order to bring forth all the magic Puerto Portals has to offer at this time of year, too. A magic I can assure you is by no means negligible. Activities like the Christmas market, which was a resounding success last year – its first – in terms of both participants and public, or the Mallorca Classic Car Rally held in March which attracts people from all over the world, enable adults and children alike to enjoy some very special days in this incomparable setting.

Strolling around Puerto Portals in the morning or the early afternoon, enjoying the tepid winter sun, the silence and so much peace and quiet is an experience I would recommend to anyone. Having breakfast on a sunny terrace in mid-winter or enjoying the delicious range of products on offer in the warm atmosphere the Port offers both by day and by night are authentic winter pleasures.

Before we know it spring and summer will be here again. But for now, let’s enjoy this winter, a season which is always mild and pleasant in Mallorca, along with the delightful possibilities it offers.

s ist nur zu verständlich, dass ein Hafen wie Puerto Portals bisher vor allem von der Sommersaison gelebt hat und lebt.

Der Sommer ist die Zeit der Bootsausfahrten, Restaurantterrassen und Spaziergänge durch Gärten im Sonnenschein.

Diese kleinen Freuden zogen auch in diesem Jahr wieder zehntausende Besucher in unseren Hafen und wir können mit der Saison zufrieden sein.

Trotzdem haben wir in der Geschäftsleitung im vergangenen Winter beschlossen, künftig mehr auf die Herbst- und Wintermonate, die sogenannte Nebensaison, zu setzen und die magische Anziehungskraft zu akzentuieren, die Puerto Portals auch in dieser Jahreszeit ausstrahlt. Und ich versichere Ihnen, der Hafen hat micht wenig zu bieten. Zum Beispiel der Weihnachtsmarkt, der im vergangenen Jahr zum ersten Mal stattfand und ein voller Erfolg wurde. Oder die Oldtimer-Rallye im März, zu der die Teilnehmer aus aller Herren Länder anreisen. Dies ist nur ein kleiner Abriss, aber Sie sehen, dass bei uns Kinder wie Erwachsene ganz besondere Tage erleben können.

Liebe Leserinnen und Leser, ich lade Sie zu einem Spaziergang durch das winterliche Puerto Portals ein. Flanieren Sie in den Morgenstunden oder am frühen Nachmittag unter der wärmenden Wintersonne durch unseren Hafen und genießen Sie die Stille und den Frieden, die gemütliche Athmosphäre, für die der Hafen am Tag oder bei Nacht so bekannt ist – erleben Sie den Zauber des Winters in Puerto Portals.

TIEMPO de REGATA regatta DAYS RegattaTage Durante casi quince años, con la celebración de la Regata Breitling se cortaba la cinta que inauguraba el verano en Puerto Portals.

For nearly fifteen years, the Breitling Regatta was the signal to cut the ribbon that inaugurated the summer in Puerto Portals.

a temporada se encendía con este evento deportivo que durante catorce convocatorias, desde el año 1995 al 2008, reunió en nuestro puerto a lo más granado de la náutica deportiva, convirtiéndose en un encuentro social de primerísimo orden, contando desde el principio con la presencia de la Familia Real y un selecto grupo de armadores y sponsors, concitando a un sin número de celebridades de todos los órdenes.

La voluntad deportiva de Puerto Portals ya se había manifestado con la organización de la regata Omega Dos Bahías que, habiendo sido un éxito y un lazo entre puertos, no tendría perdurabilidad. Sí la había de tener la Regata Breitling que, auspiciada por la famosa marca relojera suiza y por sus representantes en nuestra isla, Nicolás Joyeros, emprendieron esta competición que sería una de las más importantes del circuito náutico mediterráneo, promoviéndola con una soberbia organización que Puerto Portals estimuló y mantuvo.

Una veintena de barcos -hasta veinticinco-, eran invitados por la organización para participar en la regata, reuniéndose las mejores embarcaciones y tripulaciones, los mejores skippers, y las marcas más cualificadas. Desde su inicio, se planteó que todo fuera del primer nivel deportivo y que alcanzase un nivel internacional, como así fue, precediendo a la Copa del Rey de Vela en Palma de Mallorca. El éxito en lo deportivo y su repercusión social fueron inmediatos, reconociéndose desde sus primeras convocatorias.

Al pulular de tripulantes, técnicos, prensa deportiva, paparazzis, se sumaban aficionados del mundo entero, visitantes, curiosos y, significadamente -como se ha dicho-, la Familia Real y los grandes protagonistas deportivos de la vela (cuyo recuerdo merecería su particular capítulo), además de un buen número de estrellas de otros ámbitos, celebridades como Julio Iglesias, Michael Douglas, Melanie Griffith... Encuentros, ágapes, cócteles, cenas, burbujeantes fiestas, y hasta espectáculos de avionetas sobrevolando con sus magníficas acrobacias el puerto, serían miles las anécdotas que podríamos contar. Brindamos en estas páginas observando el pasado pero también lo hacemos por el presente y por el futuro que deseamos.

he season would take off with this sporting event which for fourteen years, from 1995 to 2008, brought together the crème de la crème of the sport of yachting, becoming a social encounter of the first order, one which boasted the presence of the Royal Family from the very beginning along with a select group of boat owners and sponsors, and congregated countless celebrities of all kinds.

Puerto Portals’ sporting determination had already been made clear with the organisation of the Omega Dos Bahías Regatta which, after being a success and linking the ports, was not to last over time. But the Breitling Regatta would last, supported by the famous Swiss watch brand and its representatives on our island, Nicolás Joyeros, who embarked together on this competition which was to become one of the most important on the Mediterranean yachting circuit, promoting it with a superb organisation which Puerto Portals stimulated and maintained.

Around twenty boats – up to twenty-fivewere invited by the organisers to take part in the regatta, bringing together the best vessels and crews, the best skippers, and the most qualified brands. From the beginning the proposal was that everything should be of a top sporting level and the event should reach the international plane, as indeed it did, preceding the Sailing Copa del Rey in Palma de Mallorca. The success in terms of sport and its social repercussions were immediate, and were acknowledged after the first few competitions.

The swarm of crew members, technicians, sports press representatives and paparazzi was joined by enthusiasts from all over the world, visitors, the curious and, significantly – as we already mentioned – the Royal Family and the big names in the sport of sailing (whose memory would deserve a chapter of their own), as well as a fair number of stars from other fields, celebrities like Julio Iglesias, Michael Douglas, Melanie Griffith... Encounters, banquets, cocktails, dinners, bubbling parties and even air shows with planes flying above the port with their magnificent acrobatics.

We could literally tell thousands of anecdotes. On these pages we raise our glasses while observing the past, but we also toast to this present and the future we desire. puerto 10 portals

4 Jahre, von 1995 bis 2008, begann die Sommersaison in unserem Hafen mit der Breitling-Regatta. Das Event avancierte zum hochkarätigen Stelldichein der Crème de la Crème des Wassersports, zu dem sich von Anfang an die Spanische Königsfamilie, prominente Sponsoren und Reeder sowie Stars und Berühmtheiten einfanden.

Zunächst war Puerto Portals Gastgeber der Omega-Regatta Dos Bahías, die ein Band zwischen den Häfen knüpfen sollte, deren Erfolg jedoch nicht von Dauer war. Die Breitling-Regatta hingegen, die unter der Schirmherrschaft der berühmten Schweizer Uhrenmanufaktur steht, profilierte sich zu einer der bedeutendsten Regatten im Mittelmeerraum – dank des außergwöhnlichen Engagements von Nicolás Joyeros, Breitling-Repräsentant auf Mallorca, und der Organisatoren von Puerto Portals.

Bis zu 25 Schiffe wurden von den Veranstaltern zur Teilnahme eingeladen; die Regatta vereinte die besten Boote und Teams, die versiertesten Skipper und bewährte Markennamen. Von Beginn an setzten die Organisatoren auf höchstes sportliches Niveau und internationale Ausrichtung und so wurde die Regatta zum Vorläufer der Königlichen Segelregatta von Palma de Mallorca. Der sportliche Erfolg und ein enormes gesellschaftliches Echo stellten sich schon bald ein.

Zu den Teams, Experten, Sportberichterstattern und Paparazzis gesellten sich Wassersportfans aus aller Herren Länder, Besucher, Schaulustige und, wie bereits erwähnt, das Spanische Königshaus und die Großen des Segelsports (die einen eigenen Artikel verdienen). Hollywood-Berühmtheiten wie Michael Douglas oder Melanie Griffith sowie Stars wie Julio Iglesias und andere Celebrities flogen ebenfalls Jahr für Jahr ein. Meetings, Festessen, Cocktails, Galadinners, rauschende Partys, atemberaubende Flugakrobatik am blauen Himmel über dem Hafen prägten das Bild von Puerto Portals. Und tausende Anekdoten könnten wir erzählen. eguramente hoy, al observar Puerto Portals en su conjunto, se hace difícil imaginar cómo fueron aquellos primeros días en que todo empezó a tomar cuerpo, cómo comenzaron a construirse los primeros pantalanes, a poner los cimientos que elevarían la Torre de Capitanía, a dibujarse los contornos de lo que sería más tarde la zona comercial. De todo ello hace ya casi 30 años.

Gracias al material gráfico existente, podemos sorprendernos y admirar la enorme construcción llevada a cabo por la empresa Dragados y Construcciones y encabezada por Ricardo Collado, ingeniero-director de la obra. En concreto, se dragaron 26.500 metros cúbicos a una profundidad media de 4,50 metros, se emplearon 19.500 metros cúbicos de hormigón en forma de tetrápodos para la escollera, se utilizaron más de 50 kilóme-

uite probably today, when one observes Puerto Portals as a whole, it is difficult to imagine what those early days were like when everything started to take shape - how the first piers began to be built or the foundations on which the Torre de Capitanía rose up, or the outline of what would later be the shopping area was established. Porsche Design has set its cars to one side in order to create this revolutionary model of vessel. Its curved lines were a challenge indeed for the yacht’s architects. It measures approximately 41 metres and can hold up to 20 people.

Porsche Design hat zugunsten dieser revolutionären Superyacht mächtig Fahrt aufgenommen. Die Kurvenlinien waren eine echte Herausforderung für die Designer. Der Megacruiser ist ca. 41 Meter lang und bietet Platz für 20 Personen.

l Archiduque Luis Salvador de Austria (Florencia, Italia 1847 – Brandeis, Austria 1915), eligió una forma de vida totalmente diferente a la de la dinastía de los Habsburgo, casa real a la que pertenecía. Su espíritu aventurero le llevó a construirse su propio barco privado, el Nixe, y recorrer en él todo el mar Mediterráneo, realizando investigaciones antropológicas que han dado lugar a una extensa obra literaria de inmenso valor científico y humanístico.

Con 20 años de edad visitó de incógnito Mallorca y se enamoró de la isla. Años más tarde, fijó en ella su residencia, concretamente en la finca de S’Estaca, en plena Sierra de Tramuntana. Desde Mallorca iniciaba sus travesías a bordo del Nixe, saciando las necesidades de su alma viajera y descubriendo nuevos lugares del archipiélago balear y la costa mediterránea, que documentó de su puño y letra en una obra imprescindible, Die Balearen.

Basándose en las bitácoras escritas a bordo del Nixe, un equipo de investigación sigue en la actualidad las rutas que el Archiduque Luis Salvador dejó plasmadas en sus libros, con el objetivo de comparar el Mediterráneo de entonces con el de hoy. En 2015, coincidiendo con los 100 años de la muerte de este singular personaje de la casa Habsburgo, el equipo espera dar a conocer todos sus descubrimientos, tras años navegando con un buque al que han llamado Nixe III, en honor al legendario navío.

His adventurous spirit led him to build his own private boat, the Nixe, and used it to travel all around the Mediterranean Sea, carrying out anthropological research that gave rise to an extensive range of literary work of immense scientific and humanistic value.

At the age of 20 he visited Mallorca incognito and fell in love with the island.

Years later he established his residence here, specifically in the S’Estaca estate in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana. He would set out on his travels on board the Nixe from Mallorca, satiating the needs of his travel-thirsty soul and discovering new places in the Balearic archipelago and the Mediterranean coast which he documented in his own hand in one essential work, Die Balearen.

Based on the log entries written on board the Nixe, a research team is currently following the routes Archduke Ludwig Salvator placed on record in his books, with the aim of comparing the Mediterranean of then to now. An Bord der „Nixe“ erkundete der reiselustige Adlige die Balearen und die Mittelmeerküste und verfasste das Monumentalwerk „Die Balearen“, eine bis heute hoch geschätzte Chronik jener Zeit.

Ein Forscherteam fährt seit Jahren die im Logbuch der „Nixe“ und anderen Büchern des Erzherzogs festgehaltenen Routen ab, um das heutige mit dem damaligen Mittelmeer zu vergleichen. allorca’s wines are well known far beyond the island, and during the last ten years, an elevated number of winemakers started to dedicate themselves to their production. One of the smaller bodegas, as wineries are called in Spain, is Biniagual in the winemaking region of Binissalem. Manual work and carefulness are top priorities for this family run business, the vines are pampered and cared for year round, and only one kilo of grapes per vine are left to mature, thus concentrating the whole flavour of the strong soil and Mallorca’s generous sun. In autumn, during the vintage, the grapes are picked by hand, put into small boxes and carried to the bodega amid the vines, where they are carefully processed, part of them even being fermented in oak barrels. H.H. Creo que nuestro producto encajó desde el principio. Primero sorprendimos con el formato, una pizza de gran tamaño que no se había visto antes en Mallorca.

Después, la gente se vio atraída por el hecho de acudir a un restaurante en el que no hacían falta los cubiertos. Todo ello se suma a la calidad de nuestros ingredientes a un precio asequible, en un ambiente bastante familiar, en el que celebramos fiestas y eventos y donde impera la buena música.

Aun así, la clave para que triunfe un negocio como este es creer en lo que estás haciendo y trabajar duro para llevarlo adelante.

P. P. ¿Por qué eligió Puerto Portals para abrir su restaurante?

H.H. La elección de la localización fue uno de los motivos del gran impulso de Diablito. Mi socio y yo queríamos traer esta pizza especial a la isla y recorrimos todos los rincones de Mallorca hasta dar con el lugar perfecto. Al llegar a Puerto Portals no tuve más dudas. Al principio, solamente estábamos Tristán, Wellies, Flanigan y nosotros. P.P. What is the key to Diablito’s success after so many years?

H.H. I believe that our product fitted in right from the start.

First of all we surprised with the format, a large pizza that had never been seen before on Mallorca. And then people were attracted by going to a restaurant where no cutlery was necessary. All this added to the quality of our ingredients at a reasonable price, in a fairly familiar atmosphere, where we hold parties and events and with a prevalence of good music. Even so, the key to the triumph of a business like this one is believing in what you do, and working hard to push forward.

P. P. Why did you choose Puerto Portals to open your restaurant in?

H.H. The choice of the situation was one of the reasons for the big boost of the Diablito. My partner and I wanted to bring this special pizza to the island and we travelled all over Mallorca until we found the perfect place. When we came to Puerto Portals I had no more doubts.

At first there was just the Tristán, Wellies, Flanigan and us.

We had some hard winters, but we made a name for ourselves until I managed to get the terrace now occupied by the upper part of the premises which has become a real attraction.

Dann die Qualität unserer Zutaten und dies zu einem guten Preis, die familiäre Athmosphäre, Partys und Events mit toller Musik. Trotzdem, der Schlüssel des Erfolgs liegt darin, dass Du an das glauben musst, was Du tust und Du musst hart daran arbeiten, es auch umzusetzen.

P. P. Wieso haben Sie sich für Puerto Portals als Standort Ihres Restaurants entschieden?

H.H. Die Wahl des Standorts hat wesenlich zum Erfolg des Diablito beigetragen. Mein Geschäftspartner und ich wollten unbedingt die Riesenpizza auf die Insel bringen. Wir haben überall auf Mallorca gesucht und als wir nach Puerto Portals kamen, hatte ich keine Zweifel mehr, es war der perfekte Ort für uns. Zuerst gab’s hier nur das Tristán, Wellies, Flanigan und uns, wir mussten ein paar harte Winter durchstehen, aber wir fanden unsere Marktnische. Und dann kam die Terrasse dazu, die sich jetzt im oberen Teil unseres Lokals befindet und sich zu einem richtigen „Lockvogel“ gemausert hat.

N. E. It was an artistic project over several years that I produced with Gerhard Schwaiger, the director of the Tristán Group. P.P. ¿Qué supone este premio para su trayectoria profesional?

N. E. Un empujón más y una gran ilusión después de un año muy duro de trabajo. Meterse en la final de unos premios de este calibre en los que compites con más de 10.000 fotógrafos internacionales de alto nivel es muy complicado, y más aún en la modalidad gastronómica.

P.P. ¿Cómo es la experiencia de crear la imagen de restaurantes con tanto prestigio como los del Grupo Tristán?

N. E. Empecé a colaborar con el Grupo Tristán hace nueve años y ya hay mucha confianza, supone un gran reto trabajar con ellos debido a su gran experiencia y alto nivel. Siempre que puedo me meto en la cocina del restaurante para ver cómo crean nuevos platos. Para mí es un apasionante laboratorio gastronómico. Ahora estamos en un proceso largo de adaptación a la nueva imagen, debido a la conversión del Tristán en Tristán Mar, en el que tenemos que interpretar a los clientes y bajar el toque de misterio de la cocina de autor.

P.P. ¿Cuáles son sus proyectos más inminentes?

N. E. Iniciamos la temporada más dura de trabajo. En el estudio seguimos con proyectos muy interesantes de proyección internacional como las campañas publicitarias de Braun o Teka.

Aun así, creo que mi gran proyecto está por llegar; un proyecto que pueda combinar con arte, que es lo que realmente me gusta hacer.

P.P. What does this award signify for your career?

N. E. Another boost and very exciting after a very hard year’s work. Getting to the finals of such an important award, where you compete with over 10,000 top international photographers is extremely complicated, and even more so in the gastronomy modality.

P.P. How is the experience of creating the image of restaurants as prestigious as those of the Tristán Group?

N. E. I began collaborating with the Tristán Group nine years ago and the relationship is one of trust, although this does not mean it is easy to keep up with them given their wealth of experience and excellence. Whenever I can, I go into the kitchens of the restaurant to see them create new dishes. For me it is a thrilling gastronomic laboratory. Right now we are immersed in a long process of adaptation of the new image, due to the conversion of the Tristán into the Tristán Mar, for which we have to reinterpret the customers and lower the hint of mystery of designer cuisine.

P.P. What are your more imminent projects?

N. E. We are beginning the hardest season of work. In the studio we are carrying on with very interesting international projects like the Braun or Teka advertising campaigns. But even so I believe my truly great project still lies ahead of me. A project that I can combine with art, which is what I would really like to do.

P.P. Wie fühlt es sich an, das Image so prestigeträchtiger Restaurants wie denen der Tristán-Gruppe zu kreieren?

N. E. Wir arbeiten seit neun Jahren zusammen und haben großes Vertrauen zueinander. Das heißt aber nicht, dass es einfach ist, schließlich hat die Tristán-Gruppe sehr viel Erfahrung und agiert auf hohem Niveau. Die Küche ist ein faszinierendes, kulinarisches Laboratorium. Wenn ich Zeit habe, schaue ich zu, wie hier neue Gerichte kreiert werden. Derzeit sind wir dabei, für das aus dem Tristán hervorgegangene Tristán Mar ein neues Image aufzubauen. Das ist ein langer Prozess, wir müssen ein neues Bild der Gäste entwerfen und die Kochkunst des Meisters weniger betonen.

P.P. Welche Projekte wollen Sie demnächst umsetzen?

N. E. Jetzt beginnt die arbeitsintensivste Zeit. Im Studio arbeiten wir an interessanten internationalen Projekten, wie den Werbekampagnen für Braun oder Teka. Trotzdem glaube ich, dass mein Meisterstück erst noch kommt - ein Projekt, das ich mit Kunst verknüpfen kann, das würde ich wirlich gern machen.

Veinticuatro casetas ocupan el boulevard del Puerto y en ellas, los visitantes pueden adquirir artículos de regalo, bisutería, discos, productos gastronómicos propios de estas fechas como el glühwein -vino caliente alemán-, chocolate con churros, etc. Un gran árbol de Navidad iluminado, la decoración y la música otorgan un ambiente muy acogedor al mercado, que recibe la visita de Papa Noel y la cabalgata de los Reyes Magos.

Durante los días laborables el horario de visita es de 16 h. a 20 h., y los festivos y fines de semana de 12 h a 20 h., incluidos el 24, 25, 26 y 31 de diciembre, y el 1 de enero.

At the 24 huts occupying the boulevard of the port visitors can acquire gifts, jewellery, records, typical seasonal gastronomy products like Glühwein – German mulled wine -, hot chocolate with ‘churros’, etc. A huge Christmas tree with lights, the decoration and the music lend a cosy atmosphere to the market, which is visited by Father Christmas and the Three Kings’ parade.

On working days the market operates from 4 pm to 8 pm, and on holidays and at weekends it is open from 12 noon to 8 pm, including the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st December and January 1st.

ás de 250 personas participaron a finales de agosto en el I Aquatlon Puerto Portals, una prueba que combina atletismo y natación, en total seis kilómetros corriendo y uno nadando. La parte a pie se desarrolló íntegramente en las instalaciones del Puerto, y la parte a nado en la vecina playa de S’Oratori. El triunfador absoluto de la prueba fue Carlos López Díaz, con un tiempo de 32 minutos y 21 segundos.

También hubo participación en las categorías junior, veteranos, senior y relevos.

Los premios incluyeron cenas en los diferentes restaurantes de Puerto Portals.

t the end of August over 250 people took part in the I Aquathlon Puerto Portals, a trial that combines athletics with swimming, a total of six kilometres running and one swimming. The running part of the race took place entirely within the port installations, and the swimming part on the neighbouring beach of S’Oratori. The overall winner of the trial was Carlos López Díaz, with a time of 32 minutes 21 seconds. There were also participants in the junior, veterans, senior and relay categories. Vielseitigkeit war gefragt, der Aquatlon ist ein Mehrkampf aus Leichtathletik und Schwimmen. Die Teilnehmer mussten zunächst sechs Kilometer im Hafen laufen; danach ging’s zum Ein-Kilometer-Schwimmen an den benachbarten Strand S’Oratori. Carlos López Díaz meisterte die sportliche Herausforderung in 32 Minuten und 21 Sekunden und stieg als Gesamtsieger aufs Podium. Der Aquatlon fand in den Kategorien Junior, Veteranen, Senior und Staffel statt. Als Preise wurden u.a. Abendessen in den verschiedenen Restaurants von Puerto Portals übergeben.

a primera edición de “Portals Nautical Weekend”, celebrada entre el 26 y el 28 de mayo, ha sentado un nuevo referente dentro del mundo de la náutica en Baleares, tanto por el poder de convocatoria del evento, con más de 8.000 visitantes durante los tres días de celebración, como por el desfile de barcos y el espectacular montaje de luces y sonidos que lo acompañó. Además, antes del desfile los presentes pudieron disfrutar de la demostración de Fly Board, un juguete acuático con el que se alcanzan hasta ocho metros de altura sobre el agua gracias a un sistema de propulsión.

he first “Portals Nautical Weekend”, which was held from 26th to 28th May, established a new reference point within the nautical world of the Balearic Islands, both for the event’s ability to draw the crowds, with over 8,000 visitors during the three days it was held, and for the parade of boats and spectacular display of lights and sound that accompanied it. Moreover, before the parade those present were able to enjoy the demonstration of the Flyboard, an aquatic toy that enables one to reach a height of up to eight metres above the water thanks to its propulsion system.

Zum einen waren der dreitägigen Einladung mehr als 8.000 Besucher gefolgt, zum anderen begeisterte die Gäste die Schiffsparade mit der spektakulären Audio- und Lichtshow.

Zuvor boten die Organisatoren eine beeindruckende FlyboardVorführung. Mit dem neuen Wasser-Gadget kann man sich dank eines Antriebssystems in bis zu acht Meter Höhe katapultieren lassen.

Beim “Portals Nautical Weekend” waren zahlreiche Branchenunternehmen vor Ort, um ihre Produkte und Dienstleistungen zu präsentieren. Im kommenden Jahr folgt die zweite Ausgabe des Events.

La principal novedad de este año es que se integrará un tramo del campeonato mundial, un recorrido de 28 kilómetros de noche durante la primera jornada. Un rastrillo, una tómbola con atractivos premios, animación infantil, talleres y grupos musicales amenizaron el día. El tradicional concurso de perros incluyó premios al mestizo más singular, al Senior 2012, al perro de raza más simpático y el Especial 10º aniversario. The traditional dog show included awards for the most singular mongrel, the Senior 2012, the friendliest pedigree dog and the 10th Anniversary Special. Mehr als tausend Tierfreunde fanden sich Mitte September bei der X Jahresfeier des Vereins SOS Animal Mallorca zusammen, um ihre Solidarität zu zeigen.
