U

no de los retos más ambiciosos y apasionantes que nos hemos marcado en Puerto Portals es lograr que nuestras instalaciones sean, también durante los meses de invierno, un lugar tan lleno de vida como lo son de abril a octubre. Con el fin de lograr este objetivo, y priorizando siempre nuestra oferta náutica -una de las más solicitadas del Mediterráneo, con 639 amarres para embarcaciones de entre 8 y 70 metros de eslora-, nuestro equipo trabaja con esmero desarrollando una serie de actividades y eventos para atraer tanto a residentes como a visitantes durante la llamada temporada baja, con el deseo de que disfruten de una amplia oferta de calidad, gastronomía, moda, compras y ocio en general.

En este sentido, Prêt-à-Portals Fashion Weekend, celebrado el pasado mes de octubre y que ha alcanzado una amplia repercusión mediática tanto a nivel local como nacional e internacional, es una clara muestra del camino que nos hemos marcado. El Mercado de Navidad, que ya es un éxito consolidado desde hace algunos años, o el Rally Clásico Isla Mallorca Puerto Portals, son otras actividades que vamos a seguir impulsando en pos de alcanzar nuestra meta.

Nuestro mayor deseo es que, en Puerto Portals, nuestros visitantes siempre estén a gusto, que encuentren lo que buscan y vean sus expectativas colmadas, y que al terminar la jornada sientan el deseo de regresar próximamente. Todo ello significará que estamos transitando por el camino adecuado.

ne of the most ambitious and exciting challenges we at Puerto Portals have set for ourselves is to ensure that our installations are just as full of vitality during the winter as they are from April to October. With the aim of attaining this goal, and always prioritizing our range of nautical services - which are amongst the most sought-after in the Mediterranean, with 639 berths for vessels measuring between 8 and 70 metres in length – our team works diligently to develop a series of activities and events designed to attract both residents and visitors during what is commonly known as the ‘low’ season, so that they can enjoy a broad range of topquality options, including gastronomy, fashion, shopping and leisure in general.

Along these lines, Prêt-à-Portals Fashion Weekend, which was held in October and has had far-reaching repercussions in both the local and the national and international media, is a clear example of the path we have marked out for ourselves. The Christmas Market, which has already been consolidated as a success for several years now, or the Rally Clásico Isla Mallorca for which Puerto Portals is the venue, are other activities we will continue to boost in order to achieve our objective.

Our greatest wish is for our visitors to feel at home and find what they are looking for in Puerto Portals, and that their expectations are met, so that at the end of the day they feel they would like to come back again soon. All this will mean that we are travelling in the right direction.

Der Hafen soll in der kalten Jahreszeit ein ebenso quirliger Treffpunkt werden, wie er es in der Saison von April bis Oktober ist. Puerto Portals gehört zu den renommiertesten Yachthäfen im Mittelmeerraum, mit 639 Liegeplätzen für Schiffe mit acht bis 70 Metern Kiellänge.

Darüber hinaus organisiert unser Team sorgfältig ausgewählte Events und Veranstaltungen, die den Hafen für Einwohner und Touristen auch in der Nebensaison attraktiv machen. Unsere Gäste sollen ein hochwertiges Angebot an Gastronomie, Mode, Shopping und Freizeitunterhaltung im Hafen genießen.

Das Prêt-à-Portals Fashion Weekend, das im Oktober zum ersten Mal veranstaltet wurde und in den nationalen wie internationalen Medien begeistert aufgenommen wurde, ist ein erster Meilenstein auf diesem Weg, auf dem wir vorangehen möchten. Events, wie unser Weihnachtsmarkt und die Oldtimer-Rallye Isla Mallorca gehören seit einigen Jahren fest zur Agenda von Puerto Portals und tragen dazu bei, unser Ziel zu erreichen.

n evento como Prêt-à-Portals es, sobre todo, muy estimulante. Nos parece una idea muy buena porque, a pesar de que se establezca que en esta crisis económica debemos ahorrar, es además tiempo de invertir.

La elección de la fecha ha sido crucial, ya que eventos de este talante atraen a mucha gente a nuestro puerto fuera de la temporada estival. Para la próxima edición, añadiría algún tipo de apoyo como la celebración de otro evento paralelo, ya sea un evento deportivo, una regata, o una exposición de arte internacional.

bove all, an event like Prêt-àPortals is extremely stimulating. We think it is a very good idea because, in spite of the fact that we have established that in this economic crisis one should save, it is also a good time to invest. The choice of the date was crucial, as events of this kind attract many people to the port outside the summer season. For next year’s fashion weekend, I would add some kind of support like another parallel event, either a sports event, a regatta or an international art exhibition.

Die Wahl des Datums ist entscheidend gewesen, Highlights von solch hohem Niveau locken viele Leute in unseren Hafen, auch außerhalb der Hochsaison. Für das nächste Mal würde ich mir ein zweites Event wünschen, das parallel zur Modenschau veranstaltet wird, zum Beispiel ein Sportevent, eine Regatta oder eine internationale Ausstellung.

Además, Prêt-à-Portals es un evento abierto, en el sentido de que nos ha involucrado a los comercios, estamos todos implicados y trabajando en equipo.

his shop crosses oceans and is the dream of the most demanding of sailors. Its design is based on wide open spaces, to accommodate eight people distributed amongst four double cabins. It has a bar, lounge area and space for special celebrations. The first of the models launched is based on a minimalist Oriental design in brown and cream, with hints of red, and this inspiration is reflected in the tatamis and shoji-type sliding doors, of Japanese origin.

Antiguamente, la persona que construía y reparaba los llaüts de madera era conocido como “mestre d’aixa”. En la actualidad, la fibra de vidrio ha sustituido prácticamente a toda la madera, si bien el proceso de construcción sigue siendo completamente artesanal. The construction of the interior of the llaüt depends on its size, which may vary between five and sixteen metres in length. If it is larger than seven metres a cabin can be included, and the largest ones have several rooms, a galley, bathroom and everything necessary for the comfort of the people on board.

After days of heavy rain, water gushes up from the ground in this holm-oak wood. Or Es Camí des Correu, which runs along the forPUERTO 42 PORTALS

Oder man folgt dem alten Postweg, dem Camí d’es Correu, zwischen Esporles und Banyalbufar.

Los días de retiro espiritual del filósofo mallorquín Ramón Llull (1232-1315) en el Puig de Randa (entre Algaida y Llucmajor) han hecho muy popular esta excursión para conocer también el Santuario de Cura y los monasterios de Gracia y Honorato.

El recorrido de playas y calas de aguas turquesa del Parque Natural de Mondragó es otra de las opciones para un día otoñal. También cerca del mar se encuentra S’Albufera (Alcúdia), el primer espacio natural protegido de Mallorca, con 1.700 hectáreas de biodiversidad, es el humedal más grande de Baleares.

The era of the spiritual retreat of Mallorcan philosopher Ramón Llull (1232-1315) in Puig de Randa (between Algaida and Llucmajor) has made this excursion very popular, on which one can also discover the shrine of Santuario de Cura and the monasteries of Gracia and Honorato.

The route around the beaches and coves with turquoise waters in the Mondragó Natural Park is another option for an autumn day. Also close to the sea is S’Albufera (Alcúdia), Mallorca’s first protected natural space, and the largest wetland in the Balearics with 1,700 hectares of biodiversity.

Durante la celebración de esta feria, los visitantes pudieron sumergirse en estas nubes artificiales, observarlas y tocarlas, mientras paseaban por el edificio Arsenale.

En esta tercera edición la oferta se amplía con una nueva zona de casetas de productos artesanales, que se suman a las ya tradicionales de gastronomía, decoración, bisutería y complementos, cosmética elaborada con oro, cristales de Swarovski, calzado de piel ecológica y mucho más.

El calendario de actividades diarias para pequeños y adultos incluye talleres navideños, música en vivo, actuaciones de colegios, Papá Noel, Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos y mucho más.

Abierto los días laborables de 16 a 21 horas, y de 12 a 21 horas los fines de semana y festivos. El día 1 de enero permanecerá cerrado.

For this third year of the market, the range of possibilities is even larger, with a new area of stands selling craft products in addition to the already traditional ones offering gastronomy, decoration, jewellery and accessories, cosmetics made using gold, Swarovski glass, ecological leather footwear and much more.

The calendar of daily activities for youngsters and adults includes Christmas workshops, live music, performances by schools, Father Christmas, the Three Kings’ Parade, etc.

Open on working days from 4 pm to 9 pm, and from 12 noon to 9 pm on weekends and public holidays. The market will be closed on 1st January.

Der III Christmas Market wartet in diesem Jahr mit einer Neuerung auf: für Stände mit Kunstgewerbe wurde ein individueller Bereich reserviert, neben den traditionellen Ständen mit Speisen und Getränken, Dekoration, Modeschmuck und Accessoires, Kosmetik mit Goldzusätzen, Swarovski-Schmuck oder Schuhen aus ökologisch hergestelltem Leder.

Auf dem Programm stehen Workshops mit Weihnachtsbasteleien für Kinder und Erwachsene, Livemusik und Auftritte von Schulklassen. Natürlich werden auch der Weihnachtsmann und die Heiligen Drei Könige dem Weihnachtsmarkt einen Besuch abstatten. Öffnungszeiten: werktags von 16 bis 21 Uhr; Wochenende und Feiertage: von 12 bis 21 Uhr. Am 1. Januar bleibt der Weihnachtsmarkt geschlossen.

Más de un centenar de coches clásicos llegados de diferentes puntos de Europa podrán ser admirados por los visitantes que en esos días se acerquen hasta el Puerto. Con motivo de una edición tan especial, Puerto Portals ofrecerá un programa de actividades complementarias para niños y adultos durante los tres días del Rally.

El Oris Rally Clásico Isla Mallorca es una de las pruebas más emblemáticas del circuito de rallies clásicos internacionales, pues combina la categoría de los vehículos participantes y la competición con los espectaculares paisajes de la isla.

he 10 th Oris Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca will be contested between 13 th and 15 th March 2014, with Puerto Portals as its venue for yet another year. Visitors will be able to admire over a hundred vintage cars from different places in Europe which will be coming to the port over these dates. Since this year’s rally is a special one, Puerto Portals will be offering a programme of complementary activities for both children and adults over the three days the rally is held.

The Oris Rally Clásico Isla Mallorca is one of the most emblematic trials on the international vintage car rally circuit, as it combines the category of the participating vehicles and the competition with the island’s spectacular landscape.
