Nesting season has arrived. From May to November, olive ridley, black, and leatherback sea turtles nest on our beaches, and their hatchlings make their first journey to the sea. It's a magical moment, but a delicate one: even without meaning to, we can put these protected species at risk.
DO'S AND DON'TS Do - Watch from at least 20 m away. - Mark the nest with a stick if possible. - Report any sighting by calling 911.
Don’t - Don't touch turtles, eggs, or hatchlings. - Don't use lights or make noise near the nest. - Don't bring unleashed pets or vehicles onto the beach.

Experience Spotlight The sculpture circuit by Leonora Carrington at Puerto Los Cabos reveals the universe of one of the most emblematic figures of surrealism in Mexico. Her work explores the mystical, the symbolic, and the connection between nature and transformation. The journey begins upon arrival. Standing at the entrance to Puerto Los Cabos, the monumental Fisher King offers a first encounter with Carrington’s extraordinary world. Its presence welcomes visitors into a landscape where art and imagination meet.
From there, the journey continues toward the marina, where a collection of Carrington’s sculptures unfolds throughout the surroundings. La hija del Minotauro, Música para sordos, Cuculati I, II y III, and Carruaje invite visitors to pause, look closer, and discover different expressions of her artistic universe.

Born in England, Carrington found a lasting home and creative universe in Mexico, where she became a central figure in the country’s artistic landscape. Her imagination extended across painting, sculpture, and literature. Her work is populated by fantastical creatures, hybrid beings, animals, and symbols inspired by mythology, transformation, and the natural world. Carrington’s fascination with the mysterious runs throughout her work. Human and animal forms merge, familiar figures take unexpected shapes, and mythology becomes a language for exploring identity, nature, and transformation.

The changing light, the water, the architecture, and the surrounding landscape create a different setting for each encounter.
