As Los Cabos prepares for its biggest week on the water, Puerto Los Cabos Marina has completed the most significant expansion in its history. From October 19th to 24 th, the region hosts Bisbee's Black & Blue, where elite crews chase record-breaking marlin for a purse that has topped $11.5 million.

Berths range from 50 to 150 feet, giving owners of tournament-ready boats and the support vessels that trail them, the room and infrastructure they actually need. Every slip is constructed in aluminum, chosen specifically to resist the rust, staining, and slow degradation that traditional docks suffer in Baja's saltwater environment. Power runs at both 220V and 480V, enough to service the electrical demands of serious offshore rigs. Access is gated and monitored, with surveillance and controlled entry protecting every vessel on the water and the marina's layout offers genuine shelter during storm season, a detail owners rarely get until they need it most.

Join the Music Program Since August, 16 children and young people from La Playa, Rincón de La Playa, Ánimas Bajas, Ánimas, and San Vicente have been learning guitar, bass, piano, drums, or voice as part of the second generation of the Music Program, which grew from 10 to 16 scholarships this cycle.

Over 12 months, each participant takes individual lessons and, in the final stretch, joins band ensemble sessions too. The program is made possible through a partnership between La Playa Centro Comunitario, Hotel El Ganzo, and MVS Music Center, along with eight donors who came together to fund all 16 scholarships.
"MUSIC MAKES ME FEEL AT PEACE" Says one of the talents, who dreams of playing piano like Julieta Venegas. The cycle will close with a Ganzo Session recording and a performance at MVS Music Center's annual event in May 2027.
