Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course
Touted as the “Jewel of the Inner Banks,” this 7,463-yard 18-hole championship masterpiece features 11 holes paralleling the majestic Albemarle Sound and scenic Salmon Creek. And it plays as beautifully as it looks. North Carolina Golf Panel named it in the Top 10 Semiprivate courses in the state and in the Top 3 for Eastern North Carolina. For golfers of all caliber, it’s a must-play course. The well-crafted flow of the course artistically sculpted between marsh and Sound makes every round a pleasure.

Our mission (if you can call it that) at Occano Golf & Boat Club is to foster connections. To do that, we bring things together, like golfing and boating, amenities with nature, and most importantly, friends and family. Nowhere is that better on display than in our Pool & Fitness Center.
Overlooking the Albemarle Sound, the venue itself brings together incredible views with inviting amenities. Once inside, the combination of a workout room and resort-style pool brings together a variety of members from a range of generations. All having fun and all growing closer at Occano.

The attraction of the Albemarle Sound isn’t exclusively reserved for boaters. Some like to simply drink in its beauty from the shore, feel its breezes, and listen to its calming tones. For them, and for all members really, we offer Salmon Creek Waterfront Park.
Here is a place where you can lay on the warm sand to soak up the sun, then refresh yourself with a splash in the cool water. Carry a picnic lunch to the park for a quiet and romantic afternoon away. And in the evenings, there’s always stacked wood next to the fire pit, allowing you and your friends to tell stories long into the night.

At Occano Golf & Boat Club, we see ourselves as one big family. So naturally, we’re excited to welcome yours, wherever you make your home.
Of course, all homeowners within the Occano community are both invited and encouraged to become members. In addition, we offer both Full and Social Memberships to families who live outside our gates but within the Inner Banks area. And those who live a little further out can take advantage of our Regional Membership.
This club is designed to bring families closer together. On the course. On the water. In the pool. At a Friday night sing-along. Or around a fire pit roasting marshmallows, where the stars fill the night sky. More members and more families result in more smiles and more memories.
