INTRODUCING PTSMC’S PARTNER LEADERSHIP COUNCIL! I am extremely proud and thankful that eleven partners agreed to participate in an election to determine PTSMC’s first ever Partner Leadership Council (PLC). The five partners elected to serve in 2021 are: Scott Cameron, Westbrook Pete Catuccio, Watertown Rebecca Petrosino, Fairfield Brian Vo, Windsor Erin Walsh, Waterbury After the initial shock of the Covid-19 pandemic began to fade, I found myself looking for opportunities to learn from the experience personally and to improve PTSMC. In many communications I have written or spoken of “The Other Side.” Essentially, the day when the “Covid Era” ends and we go back to “normal.” It has become increasingly clear that getting to the other side will take longer than anyone had hoped, and it will be more of a journey than a quick flip of a switch. With that in mind, and considering what we’ve learned in the past eight months, we are taking proactive steps and making changes to become a better organization along the way. One of those changes is the creation of the Partner Leadership Council. The concept of the PLC was created in some of the pandemic’s darkest hours in March, April and May. “I feel safe with the telemedicine format and Amy (Demers) has been so encouraging and supportive and good humored about every part of the PT process - even when my cat hung up our video call when I was mid-exercise. Jacey (Bissell) was also super kind and I know every partner and director is focused on safely rebuilding their teams and clinics to deliver on our mission to the communities we serve. informative when I called in - she got me started and set up with ease. Thank you I am confident that will continue as we get to the other side and for everything so far!” - Branford beyond. The intent of the PLC is: To facilitate greater connectivity to clinical leaders, Alan and admin. To harness the talent “in the field and in admin” to move organizational challenges and opportunities forward. To enhance problem solving, internal communication, and growth.
I am also confident that the Partner Leadership Council will be one of the positive advances PTSMC is making now and for the future. Please stay vigilant and safe!

“The staff at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers are extremely welcoming and engaging. They are professional and up for a challenge! Even as a child in an adult setting, my son feels comfortable and enjoys attending his sessions. He has made quick and promising progress thanks to his dedicated therapist.” - Danbury “Everyone seems like they really care. The front desk staff, Randi (Gallagher), was always pleasant and ready to help. I could not recommend this place more to anyone who is looking for physical therapy.” - East Hampton “I have never been somewhere that has given such quality care and support to my injuries. I recommend this place to everyone I know that needs physical therapy or could benefit from the techniques they use.” - Middletown “Mike (McGowan) is the best physical therapist I have ever been to. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and with his help I’ve been able to to still do the sports I love pain free. Overall the facilities are very clean and all staff are very courteous and helpful. I will always recommend physical therapy and sports medicine centers to anyone who needs it.” - Windsor
