San Diego’s housing market is experiencing a healthy rebalancing, creating new opportunities for both buyers and sellers. With inventory on the rise and homes taking slightly longer to sell, buyers now have more choices and time to make informed decisions—an encouraging shift from the ultra-competitive environment of recent years. For sellers, increased listing activity signals growing confidence in the market, and while conditions are more balanced, well-priced and well-presented homes continue to attract strong interest. The luxury sector remains particularly active, with continued year-over-year growth in closed sales. As the market normalizes, both buyers and sellers are well-positioned to make strategic, value-driven moves in the months ahead.
