Annual Report 2021 Sales & Impact of Bags sold for the community and fight Hunger Bag Programs

Impact matters This low/no-touch program for stores has donated over $1.6 million to the Hannaford community since program inception in 2014. The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program is designed to make it easy for shoppers to give back to their local communities while supporting the environment. With each purchase of a Community or Fight Hunger bag, $1 is donated to a local non-profit organization, supporting civic, education, health & wellness, hunger relief, and military/veterans organizations. This Annual Report showcases the impact of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program on reusable bag sales and local non-profit organizations within the Hannaford footprint.

LOCAL HUNGER ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTED

Your generous contribution is having an immediate impact and is making it possible for AIO to fulfill our mission to support neighbors who are food and energy insecure. AI O FOOD AND E N E R G Y A S S I S TA N C E

It is so wonderful that the Bag Hunger program has provided another avenue for folks to hear of our work and we applaud you on your continued community contributions. DINNERS W I TH LOVE

Food is so essential and your donation is greatly appreciated.

For each $10.00 donation, the pantry can purchase $100.00 of food from the foodbank in Latham. In the year 2020, January to the end of December, the pantry gave enough food for 48,384 meals. We also took care of the homeless giving food they could use without cooking. It is so thoughtful of you, and very helpful, to donate to our pantry. L INDA BURNS, PANTRY COORDI NATOR
