Thank you for your interest in our school. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. Bohunt Wokingham is a dynamic learning community whose ethos is encapsulated by three simple words:

Enjoy, Respect, Achieve.

Bohunt School Wokingham first opened its doors to Year 7 in 2016. Since then, the school has used its powerful founding ethos to create a vibrant, diverse and inclusive 11-16 school community of 1,200 students.

We are unapologetically aspirational for the students at Bohunt Wokingham. Students have access to a personalised curriculum offer that challenges each individual to achieve their potential. We have an innovative staff body who make use of iPads to engage students with their learning and to swiftly assess their strengths as well as areas for development. We blend indoor learning with the outdoors, using our unique outdoor classrooms as an integrated part of the curriculum and supporting students with their physical and mental health. Expectations are high for all students, we value our community and our learning, and so we expect students to be the very best versions of themselves everyday.

The school is in a purpose-built, modern building which offers first class facilities to the students it serves and has a designated space for a future sixth form, allowing the school to see your child through to their Higher Education.

Students at our school have access to unrivalled enrichment opportunities both locally and internationally. This ranges from the challenge of The Duke of Edinburgh award, participating in sporting competitions or trying new activities during our game-changers week. We want our students to see what is possible when they go beyond their comfort zone.

We also recognise that students may need support outside of their academic studies and our fantastic pastoral and inclusion team will be there when they need them. Developing the skills young people need to maintain a positive well-being now, and in the future, is an essential part of our curriculum, ensuring all students feel valued and heard.

In short, we want your child to leave our school being confident, resilient and ambitious for their future. We want them to be a game-changer.
