Each PSEC Charity Shop has a distinctive style. In Havelock North, the shop is well known for quality clothing at fantastic prices. Turnover is brisk so you will always find something fresh. In Taradale, the shop offers an eclectic mix of clothing, bric-a-brac, and small household and electrical goods. If you love all things vintage, the Taradale shop is a must-visit.
At the heart of our two shops is sustainability and giving back to the community through PSEC’s work. When you shop with us the proceeds support local disabled people, older people, and children and families. Second hand shopping is cost-effective so it’s good for you, the community, and the planet!
Our shops can only contribute to PSEC's work with the help of our loyal volunteers. If you’re new to the area or want to widen your social circle, volunteering is a fun way to meet people from all backgrounds, share your talents and skills, and make a genuine difference.
