We recognize the vital work you do every day, from maintaining essential services to planning and managing long-term improvements, and we’re excited to offer the Public Works Expo ’26, an event that reflects the full scope, value, and pride of public works.

Registration

Registration for the Public Works Expo opens at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026. Registrations will not be accepted before the official opening time. You will receive an immediate email confirmation when you register. The registration site is pwx.psats.org.

Registration is $199 per individual, but you can take advantage of our Early Bird Special rate of $175 through October 8.

Hotel Reservations:

A block of rooms for the Public Works Expo on November 10-11, 2026, has been reserved at Kalahari Resort at a discounted rate of $165 per night, plus applicable taxes. Each standard room includes four water park passes. Rooms are available on a firstcome, first-served basis, and guests are responsible for making and paying for their own reservations.

Deposit policy for individual reservations:

One night (plus tax) due at the time of reservation.

Cancellation policy for individual reservations:

72 hours or more prior to arrival to receive a refund, less a $30 processing fee. Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits the entire deposit.

Room Rate Deadline:

The PSATS group rate is available through October 8, 2026, or until the room block is sold out. After this date, or once the block is full, room availability cannot be guaranteed, and rates may increase.

Expo 2026 Cancellation Policy:

Expo cancellations received on or before October 8, 2026, will incur a $50 administrative fee per registration. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 8, 2026.

Note: Expo registration cancellation does not cancel any hotel reservations. To cancel or modify your lodging, please contact Kalahari Resort directly at 1-866-920-9805.

Badge Policy:

Your badge serves as your entrance pass to the Expo. Please always keep it with you. If your badge is lost, a $50 replacement fee will apply.

Earn your Three-Year Certification Card as you learn flagging procedures, work zone set-up requirements, flagger visibility, and how to use various traffic control devices. Separate registration is required for this free PennDOT Certified Flagger Training Course.

CDL Training 3 p.m.

Public Works Crews & Municipal Officials Road Crew Safety Review Training (CDL)

Want to make sure you or your crews are up to speed on workplace safety? Sign up for this free training course and learn the latest rules and regulations for commercial motor vehicles and CDL drivers and vehicles; work zone safety practices; personal protective equipment; hazardous materials marking standards; and general road and municipal garage safety procedures. Separate registration is required.

Skills Challenge

The Public Works Equipment Skills Challenge is a handson competition that showcases operators’ ability to safely and accurately handle equipment. Open to any experience level, it highlights skills in maneuvering, precision, safety, and problem-solving while promoting professional growth and friendly competition.

The Public Works Expo ’26 celebrates and supports the full spectrum of public works, from streets, water, wastewater, and stormwater to parks, facilities, operations, maintenance, and the public right of way. Public works professionals keep communities alive and connected by ensuring infrastructure functions safely, reliably, and efficiently every day.

The Public Works Expo ’26 features a dynamic program of skill-building workshops paired with a dedicated schedule of live equipment and technology demonstrations, thoughtfully arranged so you can take full advantage of both.

The workshops are designed for public works professionals across disciplines. Each session focuses on a core operational area, delivering practical strategies, real-world insights, and solutions you can apply directly to your work.

Complementing the workshops are scheduled live demonstrations that showcase the latest equipment, tools, and technologies in action. These interactive demos provide learning opportunities and direct access to the experts, making it easier to evaluate solutions that can support your team’s daily operations.

Workshops and demonstrations are offered at separate times, so there’s no need to choose one over the other. The Public Works Expo is designed to help you experience it all and make the most of this two-day event.
