The best way to engage with people is to make real connections, so take the time to ask their opinions on the topics that matter - you’ll quickly find some common ground and build rapport.

The power of networking lies in building meaningful connections, so it’s better to have fewer, quality conversations with the right people than to spread yourself too thinly and make little impact. BRITISH HELICOPTER ASSOCIATION

THE BHA IS THE NON-PROFIT TRADE ORGANISATION THAT REPRESENTS THE UK’S CIVIL HELICOPTER INDUSTRY TO GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS AND INTERNATIONAL BODIES. The British Helicopter Advisory Board (BHAB) was formed in 1969 at the instigation of leading members of the UK helicopter industry who realised that it lacked a single authoritative voice speaking for the whole helicopter industry as was the case in other aviation sectors. At that time helicopter activity in support of off-shore oil exploration and production was expanding rapidly. In November 2008, the name of the BHAB was changed to the British Helicopter Association (BHA).

We represent and promote the industry with government and public bodies in order to maintain a fair and balanced business environment; we engage with the public and the media in order to promote the value and benefits that helicopters bring to society; and we encourage younger generations to consider careers and opportunities within the helicopter industry for the future health of the industry, and to maintain the UK’s position and leadership in the field.
