In the span of just six years, Britt McLaughlin has played a mentor role in countless homeowner journeys. Through guidance, expertise, and teamwork, she proudly steers her clients toward their real estate goals, and being able to contribute to her community in such a meaningful way, through her company (She Moves -The Britt McLaughlin Group), is something she values.
Originally from Bucks County (New Hope by way of Bensalem), Britt built many life memories in the area before moving away to college. She attended the University of South Carolina, receiving a degree in business, and began her professional life as a sports information director at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, before eventually transitioning to a director of operations role with a software company.
Despite exploring these varied paths prior to tapping into her real estate talents, Britt says her connection to the housing industry has been ever-present through all stages of her life. “My father is a well-respected residential custom home builder in Bucks County, and my mother was a REALTOR® for the majority of my childhood. She runs multiple businesses that include investing, GC, and a few ancillary companies that lend their services to my father’s construction company. They have always been savvy real estate investors, which demystified the process at a young age for me and gave me a glimpse into the need [to] own property and the financial stability it can provide.”
After years of receiving encouragement from her mother to become a licensed agent, Britt finally decided to heed that advice, after going through the process of purchasing her first home. The experience ignited her interest in the field, and she knew that her background in operations and hospitality, coupled with the insights she had gained through observing her parents over the years, would position her for success and allow her to o er a fresh perspective to buyers, sellers, and investors.
As she started along the real estate path, Britt made a commitment to making sure her clients never felt like just a number, and that best practice is still a cornerstone of her business today. “For me it is about the connection and relationship. I like to build trust and rapport with my clients that will last a lifetime. I like connecting with so many di erent people, finding commonality, and helping them realize their goals,” she explains.
In order to plant seeds for continued future growth, Britt eventually decided to form her own team, and she says the initiative was based around a classic sentiment: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. “I wanted to bring people together who have big whys and who want to use real estate as their vehicle to support those whys. I strive for an abundance mindset. I want every member of my team to have massive

and disc golf. The couple’s daughter, Eva, appreciates nature as well, and she loves riding horses, gardening with mom, cooking with dad, and using her delightful humor to make others smile.

As he made a professional transition to real estate in 2010, Martin concentrated his e orts on the rental market, specializing in the BRRRR method (buy, rehab, rent, refinance, repeat) for nine years. “We primarily redeveloped Victorians in the East Falls/West Germantown Area. I moved to Point Breeze during that time as well, seeing the neighborhood change, which intrigued my interest in new construction,” Martin recalls.

It was an amazing gesture of him recognizing my hard work by becoming a repeating client,” Martin shares.

“A great friend of mine challenged me to figure out what I wanted to do. I wanted to have a career where I could control my time and how much I got paid while still helping the community,” Anesha says. “I found out the steps of becoming a REALTOR®.

Anesha earned her license in May 2017, then went full-time in 2021. In the meantime, after she started, Anesha worked part-time.

“It was very challenging at the start, especially working 9 to 5 with my other job. You are working during those times when you could be showing and working with clients. But my Broker at the time, Keira Ingram, opened up the opportunity for me. She called me and created an opportunity for me to work within the brokerage on an hourly basis,” Anesha remembers. “She gave me my jump start. I didn’t just get here out of nowhere. She took a gamble with me. If it wasn’t for her creating the opportunity, I may not have had the ability to go full-time.”

“When I first started in the business, I wasn’t aware of the impact I could have with other professionals and helping them succeed through referrals, as well,” Anesha says. “I love being able to put money in other people’s pockets and helping others make money.”

“Every third Wednesday there is a speaker with a new topic that you can learn from, and every quarter I put together the community group,” Anesha says. “We started with 17 members and now have 1,800 members locally, as well as in Virginia and Georgia.”
