Volkan Andic’s life is like a sym phony. Many people have been “instrumental” in impacting his life, and he has helped bring “harmony” to others as well. The “music” of his life has been impacted by growing up in Turkey, immigrating to New York, and then relocating to Bucks County.

In 2006, the Andics bought their first house. The entire experience was intrigu ing to Volkan because, in Turkey, there is one agent who is shared by both the buyer and the seller. He realized that real estate could be a great fit for him because he could build relationships with the people he was serving.

Volkan became a REALTOR® in 2006 and later co-founded Opus Elite Real Estate based on the values of intimacy, integrity, and intentional ity. Like a master conductor, Volkan helps to orchestrate all the moving pieces, bringing harmony to the community and helping homeowners connect with the instrument they need to create their masterpieces.

Volkan followed the music in his heart and immigrated to New York on Sept. 11, 2002. He had earned a degree in veterinary studies in his native Turkey but wanted to study English in the United States. Although New Yorkers were still somewhat leery of newcomers because of what had happened the previous year, he was able to find various jobs in customer service while he finished his English studies and earned his MBA in international business.

Bucks County Real Producers • 15realproducersmag.com agent on fire

During his studies, he met the woman who became his wife. Jenica encour aged him to continue composing the symphony of his life. He loved to cook and dreamed of opening up his own restaurant, but after working as a cook in a local restaurant, he realized that he missed interacting with customers. After several years of interesting and wonderful experiences in Brooklyn and Manhattan, they moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to Jenica’s family.

He realized that real estate could be a great fit for him because he could build relationships with the people he was serving.

When he became a licensed REALTOR® later that year, Volkan determined to focus on harmony and collaboration between agents at the closing table, not dissonance and competition. He started networking, introducing himself to local businesses and people. After his first year, he transitioned to the family boutique brokerage Every Home. They had five agents and were doing everything online long before that would become a trend. Volkan loved the innovation, improvements, and leads, yet he held on to the “old school” mindset of personal interaction and put in the time and e ort to establish relationships with clients and other agents.

16 • September 2022 @realproducers “Real estate is about connections to people and connections to the community,” reflected Volkan. “It is about being a participant, not just a spectator. I love innovation, but I honor the tradition of con nection. Using technology helps make things more e cient and e ective for the people I am serving.” After the crash, it was hard for all agents, but Volkan learned about foreclosures, finding investors, and marketing himself. His determination to work hard for his family, and overcome language barriers, inspired Jenica to pursue her dream. She studied hard and became a speech therapist, and now helps children overcome language barriers. Volkan is proud of how she gives 110 percent every day. He developed a friendship with fellow Every Home REALTOR® Mark Gatta. The pair successfully opened the first branch o ce in Newtown. By the end of 2018, Every Home had 100 agents. However, Volkan and Mark had a vision for greater things. In 2019, the pair activated their ideas of elevated innovation and connection to open their own bro kerage in Newtown with eight like-minded agents. They chose the name Opus Elite because Opus means “work” or “masterpiece” in Latin, and they were committed to working for their community to create masterpieces at the highest level possible.

Opus Elite views its o ces as living, working art galleries and routinely invites individual artists to display new collections or favorite pieces on their o ce walls. They take things a step further by hosting an initial open house event each time the art is changed so the community can view the pieces and interact with the newly featured artist. This summer, they hosted weekly outdoor concerts called “Music on State Street” and invited various local musicians to perform outside of one of their o ces. This provided culture for the community and a spotlight for the performers. Some of these ideas have come from Volkan and Mark, and some have come from agents because of the culture created at Opus Elite. The entire team looks for the good in others and celebrates it, within the “work family” and the community. Their goal is to build up people as they build their community, like a glorious, harmonious musical masterpiece.

The brokerage supports local nonprofits and charities. For example, with every transaction, Opus Elite not only donates $100 to the Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation, a local resource for families experiencing di cult times, but they also participate in fundraisers with this organization because of its impact on the needs of the community.

Another is their focus on holding themselves and each other to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior, so they can provide the highest level of ser vice and satisfaction. A third is the way they give back to the community selflessly and intentionally.

Ask Alena Alena Stoylar, who is fluent in English and Russian, eagerly earned her license before graduating from Drexel in 2003. While working in a corporate co-op program, she realized that big firms and the corpo rate work environment were not for her because she needed to feel connected to people and have a greater purpose. When she discovered that real estate would allow her to help individuals and fam ilies take one of the biggest steps in life and that the market was HOT, she “jumped in with both feet.”

After serving faithfully as an assistant for a short time, Loretta took a two-week crash course in real estate and earned her license. She completed 60 transactions by the end of 2015! Because of her experience as a military spouse, she advocates for clients who need guidance in maneuvering VA loans and is a big supporter of utilizing all the benefits of being a military family.

Because of her experience as a military spouse, she advocates for clients who need guidance in maneuvering VA loans and is a big supporter of utilizing all the benefits of being a military family. Her background in titles and the law is a great advantage for her clients. One of her wins recently was helping a client sell an estate after multiple agents had been unable to. It became a big win when she sold it as-is, for $5M cash, in one week. She has been a RE/MAX Diamond Club Member for several years and has been averaging 100 trans actions each year. She has a reputation for caring for her clients, helping them sell within days or buy amid steep competition. #Boom She and Shawn are celebrating their twentieth anniversary this year, and he is still actively serv ing in the Army. Their son Jake, 19, is also in the Army and is finishing up his master leader course. Sammy, 15, plans to enlist in the military as well. The Starcks love the shore and also enjoy skiing, and Loretta loves to promote local animal shelters.

Alena Stoylar, who is fluent in English and Russian, eagerly earned her license before graduating from Drexel in 2003.
