That’s the same dynamic at work with Julie Twomey.
Relentless Effort
As a licensed New Jersey and Pennsylvania REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty in Moorestown, Julie clearly maintains her internal drive to learn, grow and stay on the leading edge for herself — and her clients.
“I love educating myself and staying on top of the current market conditions and trends to better serve my clients,” Julie says. “There is nothing more rewarding than finding that perfect home for a buyer, helping a seller get the most for their home, or working with an investor to grow their portfolio. This is one of the most important decisions in life and I want to make sure my clients are happy.”
All-In Effort
Those who know Julie appreciate her strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, tireless efforts and bubbly personality.
“My strong work ethic comes from my parents and my grandparents,” she says. “I have strong ties to South Jersey and Philadelphia. As a child, my dad would take my sister and I over the bridge for fun adventures and talk to us about the buildings in the skyline. My husband (boy friend at the time) and I moved to Philly in 2014 and have created many memories here.”
Pursuing Another Path
Julie earned her real estate license in August 2020. Before that, she actively pursued another passion in life. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. From there, she went on to receive her Master’s degree in Education from Wilmington University.

After her collegiate career was complete, Julie started in teaching.
“That’s because I wanted to do something that would help people and change lives,” Julie says. “After three years, I realized it wasn’t for me.”
Starting a New Path
At that point, Julie went into sales. In 2020, she decided to get her real estate license.

“I’ve always been interested in real estate. I decided to get my license for my own investment purposes and to be able to help family,” she says. “After a few transactions, I really fell in love with it and wanted to keep helping more people.”
Family Foundation
Family makes life even more rewarding for Julie, including her husband, Jason, and their son, Leo.
Away from work, Julie also enjoys time with their three rescue dogs — Cassie, Lacey and Presley. In her free time, Julie enjoys time at the beach and traveling, and is passionate about health and fitness.
“I think that it is so important to take care of yourself not only physically but spiritually, as well. For me that looks like daily exercise, meditation, and gratitude practice,” she says with a smile.
She also loves her Philly sports teams.
Julie has a heart for helping, she supports Philadelphia PAWS and Philly Rescue Angels, two causes that are near and dear to her heart. She is also engaged as an active member of the South Philadelphia Lions Club. She is planning on donating a portion of each commission check to a charity of her choice or her client’s choice moving forward.
Genuine Success
One of the qualities that Julie is known for through her work with clients is her straightforward and honest demeanor.
“I’m not just looking to get a sale. I’m going to be a part of my clients’ lives,” Julie says.
“I continually check-in. I pride myself on the level of communication and commitment to each client. I like them to feel comfortable and at ease with the whole process.”
Truly, the process of learning and growing never ends. There’s always something new to learn … some new way to develop yourself in all areas. When you do, you and your clients benefit.
