Based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir, FUN HOME is the winner of five 2015 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The Huffington Post called FUN HOME a “landmark production that will forever change what is possible in musical theatre.”

The production has been called groundbreaking for its portrayal of the eccentric Bechdel family and for featuring a lesbian character in a leading role. Based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir, FUN HOME is the winner of five 2015 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The Huffington Post called FUN HOME a “landmark production that will forever change what is possible in musical theatre.”

FUN HOME is an original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.

The production has been called groundbreaking for its portrayal of the eccentric Bechdel family and for featuring a lesbian character in a leading role. FUN HOME is also the first Broadway show, written solely by women, to win the Tony Award for Best Musical and the first female team to win the Tony for Best Score.
