Once PPAC has announced the on-sale date and information for HAMILTON tickets, all purchases should be made through the PPAC Box Office, by calling (401) 421-ARTS (2787) or by visiting ppacri.org. This will ensure access to the best seats at the best prices available, and will eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets.

DIRECTIONS TO PPAC:
From points north: take 95S to the Atwells Ave exit 21. Go straight through 4 traffic lights and turn left at the 5th traffic light onto Broad St, which becomes Weybosset St. From points south (take 95N to Point St exit 20) and from points east (take 195W to Point St exit 1A): proceed straight at the traffic light at end of exit onto E Franklin St. At Broad St, turn right at the light (Broad St becomes Weybosset St). PPAC will be on the right side of Weybosset. From Worcester/ Western Massachusetts: Take 90E to exit 10A (Worcester/Providence, Route 146/20), which will lead to Route 146S (Providence). Take Route 146S and merge onto 95S in Providence. Then, follow directions for “from points north.”
PPAC SECURITY POLICY:
• Walk-through metal detectors are now used at all performances. Please plan to arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to curtain time.
• Firearms, weapons, laptops, briefcases, and suitcases are not allowed in the Theatre.
• All bags are subject to search; bags that pass inspection must fit under a theatre seat.
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
• There is no secure storage area and confiscated items cannot be returned.
• Providence Police details are on site at all PPAC events.
• PPAC Management reserves the right to change the security policy or implement any security measures required for any performance without prior notice.
Accessibility Services are available through the House Manager’s desk in the Grand Lobby and through the Box Office. Services include assistive listening devices and wheelchair accessible seating. The Next Stop BROADWAY® program, presented by PPAC, will take place at The Vets, August 12 – 16 and will consist of classes, workshops, and rehearsals focused on classic Broadway shows. The week culminates with an “Opening Night” performance for family and friends in the afternoon on August 16, followed by a party for all in the Gallery at The VETS.
Paid registrations are limited to 70 participants (“cast members”), ages 10 – 17 by August 1, 2019 and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarship spaces are available on a non-competitive basis for children with financial need.

Pie Recipe Submissions Due March 8
PPAC and WAITRESS are hosting a creative pie recipe contest, in partnership with The Providence Journal and WPRI CBS 12 The Rhode Show. We are looking for your most imaginative pie recipes that are inspired by the whimsical recipes of the show’s protagonist, "Jenna."
Send your original or favorite (with appropriate credit if not an original recipe) pie recipe to cdipompo@ppacri.org by Friday, March 8 at 5P. Please include your name, address, and phone number in the email submission. Finalists will be notified and asked to bake their pie for judging.
The grand prize winner will receive four tickets to see WAITRESS on Tuesday, May 28 and will have their recipe inserted in the first 50 copies of Sugar, Butter, Flour: The Waitress Pie Book sold at the Theatre during WAITRESS' engagement. Their recipe will also be printed in the Food Section of The Providence Journal!
LOOKING FOR LULU!
PPAC Seeks Young Female Child Actresses for the role of “Lulu” in WAITRESS on April 10
PPAC and WAITRESS are looking for two young girls to perform the role of “Lulu” during the Providence engagement of the Tony nominated musical, May 28 – June 2.
WAITRESS tells the story of “Jenna,” an expert pie baker working at a local diner and stuck in a loveless marriage. Her salvation comes in the form of her daughter, “Lulu.”
The character of “Lulu” is a sweet and carefree four to five-year-old who appears in the production’s finalé. Qualified young girls should be shorter than 4’2 and be no older than 5 years and 3 months. Individual applicants are welcome, as are sets of twins or siblings. Space is limited to the first 60 applicants to sign up.
The “Search for Lulu” will take place in Providence on April 10 at 10A and 1P and will last approximately 2 hours at PPAC at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence. The audition will consist of the child reading two lines from the show. If possible, parents should bring a current head shot and résumé for each child. Headshot, résumé and prior acting experience is not required.
The character of "Lulu" will be cast locally in Providence; two girls will be selected to share the role. Each girl chosen will perform in 4 performances each during the one week engagement.

PPAC and cast members from Roald Dahl’s CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY visited DelSesto Middle School to teach a dance master class. A group of DelSesto theater students worked with Sabrina Harper and Karen Hyland (Swing, u/s Mrs. Gloop) on choreography from the song “Candy Man” in the show. The students also performed a piece from their upcoming production of Wonka, Jr. for Sabrina and Karen.
The students also had the opportunity to see CHARLIE at PPAC on opening night. These tickets were underwritten by the Robert F. Stoico/FIRSTFED Charitable Foundation. The master class and tickets were supported by PPAC’s From Books to Broadway Program, in collaboration with Turnaround Arts Providence.
