PPAC is your only OFFICIAL ticketing source for tickets to a PPAC show. The only secure way to buy tickets to a PPAC production is via the Box Office window, online, and by phone. Purchasing from unauthorized sources may put you at risk for receiving counterfeit tickets.
GIFT CARDS:
Gift cards are available in any denomination when purchasing by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787) or at the Box Office window. Only specific denominations are offered online at ppacri.org (i.e. $25, $50, $75, etc.).

DIRECTIONS TO PPAC:
From points north: take 95S to the Atwells Ave exit 21. Go straight through 4 traffic lights and turn left at the 5th traffic light onto Broad St, which becomes Weybosset St. From points south (take 95N to Point St exit 20) and from points east (take 195W to Point St exit 1A): proceed straight at the traffic light at end of exit onto E Franklin St. At Broad St, turn right at the light (Broad St becomes Weybosset St). PPAC will be on the right side of Weybosset. From Worcester/Western Massachusetts: Take 90E to exit 10A (Worcester/Providence, Route 146/20), which will lead to Route 146S (Providence). Take Route 146S and merge onto 95S in Providence. Then, follow directions for “from points north.”
PPAC SECURITY POLICY:
• Walk-through metal detectors are now used at all performances. Please plan to arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to curtain time.
• Firearms, weapons, laptops, briefcases, and suitcases are not allowed in the Theatre.
• All bags are subject to search; bags that pass inspection must fit under a theatre seat.
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
• There is no secure storage area and confiscated items cannot be returned.
• Providence Police details are on site at all PPAC events.
• PPAC Management reserves the right to change the security policy or implement any security measures required for any performance without prior notice.

In their third year at Hogwarts, Harry, Ron, and Hermione meet escaped prisoner Sirius Black and learn to handle a half-horse/half-eagle Hippogriff, repel shape-shifting Boggarts, and master the art of Divination. The national tour of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF stars Israeli actor, director, and multidisciplinary artist Yehezkel Lazarov as “Tevye.”
Mr. Lazarov has been called a “Tevye for modern times” and described as “not hard to love with humorous warmth Los Angeles Times. The Sentinel proclaimed, “Yehezkel Lazarov brings new depth and overflowing charm to the role,” and Tulsa World said, “Lazarov is a superb Tevye.”
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is the heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives, and life, love, and laughter, told with an iconic score, featuring the songs “To Life (L’ Chaim!), “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Sunrise; Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Tradition.”
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher; choreographed by the acclaimed Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins; and has musical direction by Ted Sperling.

Three years ago, Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri teamed up with Academy Award® winner Robert DeNiro, Tony® winner Jerry Zaks, and Tony® winner Sergio Trujillo to create this streetwise musical based on Palminteri’s true life story. A BRONX TALE transports you to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s – where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be.

YOUNG RI ARTISTS ARE INVITED TO APPLY TO PPAC’S ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS 2020 PROGRAM
Sponsored by Textron Charitable Trust and PPAC Annual Fund Donors, with support from Ocean State Charities Trust
Applications for the ARTS Scholarships 2020 program are now being accepted until Friday, February 28, 2020 at 4P! This program awards up to $500 in financial assistance to each of the 30 selected scholarship recipients. Qualified students must reside in and attend school in Rhode Island and be aged 11 to 14 by June 1, 2020. ARTS Scholarships offer young artists an opportunity to attend local summer arts education programs that will broaden their expertise in a chosen area of study.

Next Stop Broadway® is a week-long performing arts program for children who are aged 10 through 17 by August 1, 2020. These young performers (“cast members”) participate in classes, workshops, and rehearsals focused on classic Broadway shows. A staff of Broadway professionals will teach participants songs and choreography from two hit shows from the “Golden Age of Broadway.” Cast members will have the opportunity to create their own presentations based on shows from PPAC’s upcoming 2020/2021 Broadway Season.
Paid registrations are limited to 70 cast members, ages 10 – 17 by August 1, 2020, and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Thirty scholarship spaces are available on a non-competitive basis for children with financial need and an interest in the performing arts.

We were delighted to have a special visit from some of the “Who Family” at our pre-show event for BankNewport Family Night at Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical. Ashley Margaret Morton (Mama Who), Rachel Ling Gordon and Lily Jane (Cindy-Lou Who), and Sofia Lauren Giannetti and Mia Francesca Martinez (Annie Who) participated in a Q & A with co-hosts Chelsea Priest (ABC 6 Meteorologist) and Kristin Lessard (Coast 93.3 On Air Host) and audience members.
