The arts program adds breadth to Christian education. It not only inspires students to dramatically improve their talents, but it also provides knowledge and experience. Visual and performing arts courses offer students the opportunity to explore and nurture their God-given talents and to share these gifts in significant ways. The combination of expert teaching, student-centered learning, and superb facilities makes Providence a wonderful place for students to experience the joy of self-expression and to grow richly in their creative endeavors. Throughout the school year, Providence hosts several performance events including choral concerts, band performances, dance recitals, and theatrical productions. Providence students have performed far beyond their campus walls at some of the most prestigious theaters in America including the Biltmore Estate, Disney World, and Carnegie Hall. Artwork from students who have competed in various contests is displayed throughout the city and on permanent display at the Capitol in Washington, DC. The Visual Arts Portfolio program has had 100% success with students’ portfolios earning significant scholarships. Providence is proud to stand among elite schools who value the fine arts by offering AP and Honors Visual Arts Courses. Our Jazz Ensemble received “Best In Class” at Disney’s Festival. “I am so excited that the arts program has really started taking off. At Providence, excellence is not just limited to academis and sports, but it flourishes in our fine arts department as well.”

Over 850 families and 140 churches are represented at Providence. Students in Bible courses learn to connect with God through Bible reading and prayer. We assist them as they develop their God-given potential and talents. Each student learns to compare and contrast secular worldviews to those of other religions and are encouraged to question and dig deep. Not only do students learn about God in daily Bible classes, but Biblical truths are woven through the entire educational process at Providence. We want our students to leave the halls of Providence fully prepared to meet the challenges of today’s world.
“Providence has changed my relationship with God. We pray before every class. In public school you lose focus of what’s important. At Providence, God is the focus.
