LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

look forward

2022

As we contemplate all the challenges we have collectively overcome in the past few years, now is the perfect time to optimistically look forward to new beginnings in 2022. The year ahead holds so much promise and we must be poised to capitalise on that potential for success. We know a few things about successful businesses. They all share the following traits: • A clear sense of purpose • Successful teams that achieve great outcomes • Focus on the things that yield the greatest results and eliminate what doesn’t • A culture conducive to harmonious and productive relationships Most importantly, successful businesses have great leaders. A great leader is someone who has ‘the capacity and will to rally people to a common purpose together with the character that inspires confidence and trust’ - Bernard Montgomery. This year, ProVision offers development opportunities to the entire practice team. We continue to offer technical skills training to our network of practice staff that encourages the use of best practice techniques to WOW our collective patients. We are also excited to announce a new management-level series, Leading People, designed for Practice Owners and Practice Managers. This bespoke, intensive leadership development program will focus on the development of the soft skills required to effectively lead and inspire your teams to achieve success.

Leading People

6 DAYS + ONLINE

Look forward to leading successful teams with confidence. ProVision is excited to introduce a brand new holistic Leadership Program to support the skill enhancement of leaders and business owners within our industry. The newly designed Leading People program takes a contemporary view of the role of leadership in small businesses starting with an inward facing view of our own leadership style, emotional intelligence and feedback skills before then understanding how we can use these skills to lead successful practice teams.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Anyone who currently leads people or will soon be managing others should attend. This includes Practice owners, Practice Managers and Operational Managers who have team leadership responsibilities.

LEARNING OUTCOMES This newly designed program will take place in three stages, each consisting of 2 days of face-to-learning covering the following topics: Stage 1 – Leading Me This part of the program takes an inward look at the role of different leadership styles, emotional intelligence, feedback and coaching skills so that we can better understand ourselves, our strengths and how we can also become better leaders. This session also provides the opportunity to undertake a Leadership Style Assessment with DISC Profiles Australia. Stage 2 – Leading Others Part 1 Here our focus turns to your team and the role you can play in helping your team members to set goals that support an effective performance appraisal process from which learning outcomes can be derived. We also take a look at the importance of understanding and managing organisation well-being and its connection to employee performance. Stage 3 – Leading Others Part 2 To round out our Leading People program we take a look at the skills required to manage conflict, poor performance and misconduct in the workplace.
