WHETHER it’s the artistry and romance of wedding photos, or family members having fun in a photobooth at reception, photographs play an integral role in every wedding.

While getting the traditional family photographs and loving couple photos are still on the wedding photography agenda, many couples like to add some fun and whimsy to their wedding photo agenda.

Incorporating photographs into your reception is also an easy way to personalise the occasion.

Photographs of loved ones, particularly those no longer with you, add a touching element to a reception table and helps make them part of your day.

To capture even more memories of your day, include a photobooth with a fun background and/or props, leave disposable cameras on the tables for guests to have fun with, and encourage social media users to use a common hashtag (and let you know where they’ve posted the photos).

Don’t be shy about asking your guests to observe a short waiting period before posting their photos online, or wait until you post something.
