BE OH SO QUIET IT’S a big ask but Santa Claus, pictured at the Wangaratta Co-Store, is asking everyone on Saturday night to quieten down and go to sleep so he can carry out his gift deliveries uninterrupted. With only two more sleeps it’s a challenging time for the man in red as he readies his reindeer and loads up his sleigh to spread joy to children everywhere he can. The Wangaratta Chronicle wishes all our readers a merry and safe Christmas. Our next edition will be on Friday, December 30. PHOTO: Kurt Hickling

Heritage Project when it is completed in April, would be staffed by visitor information centre assistants “offering the same informative and professional service to visitors”. Mr Swart said council was committed to promoting
