The masterplan also features a new sports ground entrance, drop-off area and carpark, and improvements to the oval itself such as drainage, fencing, officials’ boxes and seating. Kindergarten users would benefit from a new entrance/exit, and there

would ld be b reconfi figuration of car parking in the Wareena Park area, as well as the inclusion of fitness circuits through the space. The vision of the masterplan is to create a ‘multigenerational place for all’ in Wareena Park, which is bordered by Roy Street West, Swan Street, Sisely Avenue and One Mile Creek. Mr Goonan said the masterplan remained one

In a bid to see some movement on construction of the community hub in particular, the senior citizens club has confirmed it plans to approach local MPs to advocate for the project on council’s behalf.
