Daycare growth plan Medical centre ditched with renewed application pp for Worland Road childcare centre A RENEWED application li ti for a 120-place childcare centre on Worland Road, costing $1.5 million, has been lodged, this time without the two-storey medical centre that was featured in a separate application, approved in December 2022. During the notice of decision period back in January 2023, the previous application was withdrawn by the applicant, who is not part of the current application.

An altered application for the childcare centre and a three-lot subdivision for the site was submitted for the same location of 53 Worland Road, a growth area of Wangaratta. The footprint configuration of the childcare centre provides for a wraparound outdoor play area to the sides and

The childcare centre will be provided with vehicle access from Worland Road via a new 6-metre wide crossover and driveway located towards the northern end of the Worland Road frontage. This crossover and driveway will provide vehicle access to 26 onsite car parking spaces,

The carpark will be connected to the childcare centre building entry via a new 1.5m wide footpath which will be constructed within the frontage of the site.
