CAROLS AT THE CATHEDRAL ALL is set for this year’s Wangaratta Lions Club Carols by Candlelight in the grounds of the Holy Trinity Cathedral from 6pm tomorrow night. The pre-show entertainment is scheduled to commence at 7pm with the carols starting at 7.30pm and continuing until approximately 9.00pm featuring a who’s who of local entertainers performing your favourite carols. The evening will be hosted by Trevor Wickham with an array of talented musicians and vocalists led by the Wangaratta Concert Band conducted by Laura Vincent, and the Community Carols Choir (Sing Australia Wangaratta) conducted by Sarah Holmes-Brown and assistant conductor Jeff Nye. Everyone is welcome, please bring your own rug and chairs. If rain is forecast the carols will still go ahead inside the Cathedral. Full Carols program lift-out on pages 21 - 28

opening, held to celebrate International Day of People with Disability. The National Artful Art Prize is an online art prize open to artists of all ages and

abilities, with hundreds of entries received from across Australia in six categories including drawing, painting mixed media, three dimensional, photography and textiles. Ryan was the runner up in the mixed media category for his large scale collage called "Celebrity, Google, Image." He says he made the

collage because mixed media is his favourite type of art to make, the intricate work taking around six months during his once-a-week art sessions. "I like googly eyes and glitter and it makes it look interesting," he said. "It took a long time to create the effect with the faces and the googly eyes
