Teach Rural is designed to remove barriers to undertaking placements at rural and regional schools, while also supporting rural schools through better access to pre-service teachers. Participants are offered

subsidised accommodation, a group welcome event, a meal with their host school principal or mentor, welcome packs with community information, and a cluster peer network.
