AS Valentine’s Day approaches, the thoughts of many turn to romance - but for Porepunkah based author Laura Simpson, romance is her stock in trade all year round. Late 2017 saw her publish her first novel, Beyond Today, exploring the relationship between main characters Hannah and Howard, which hits a snag when troubling aspects of his past come to light. Laura said the problems faced by her characters are grounded in reality and are what many people face in their quest to find love and happy relationships.
