Graham Badrock writing his story By CHLOE JAENICKE

GRAHAM Badrock, who’s lived in Bright for the past 30 years, believes everyone has a story and he has recently released his latest book ‘The Quest for the Last Coconut’. It expands on his previous book ‘A Bump on the Road, Travels with my Wife’ through elaborating on his and his wife’s travels up the east coast of Australia while also exploring the impacts of COVID restrictions and the most recent bushfires. “This book follows our travels up the east coast of Australia, cruising the Pacific at the beginning of COVID, dealing with the restrictions that followed, even to the extent of resorting to building model boats at home,” he said. Mr Badrock decided to start writing books only four and a half years ago as a way to reflect on his own life and in that time has already published three books, with another three in progress.

◆ EXPLORING AND TRAVELLING: Graham Badrock’s latest book, ‘Quest for the Last Coconut’ follows his travels with his wife while also exploring recent events including COVID and the recent bushfires.
