Indigo Shire Council’s chief executive officer, Trevor Ierino, said this week council submitted details to Regional Roads Victoria (RRV) following the work undertaken by the committee to have the matter formally assessed by Road Safety Victoria (RSV) at its October meeting. “No decision has yet been

made and we understand that RSV has sought some additional information from Regional Roads Victoria and is likely to further consider the matter at its next meeting in January,” he said. A Regional Roads Victoria (Department of Transport) spokesperson said assessment is expected for the Indigo Shire Council proposal to be finalised in early 2023. ■ Continued page 2
